About the PML unification, Ijazul Haq pointed that had Nawaz Sharif united all factions of PML upon his arrival in the country he would have chief the united PML today. “Nawaz Sharif missed the opportunity, he really missed a chance to rule the country if has the PML united then there was no chance for President Zardari and Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani to take helm of the country’s affairs,” he elaborated.
The PML-Z chief claimed that the unification the PML faction was the need of the hour and efforts are underway for the purpose. He said that parleys were underway to get the PTI, religious parties and PML factions united to steer the country out of all crises.
Ijazul Haq emphasised that the country was passing through a critical juncture and the May 2 and 22 incidents had weaken the military of the country. The situation warrants a united nation to thwart all conspiracies against the country,” he stressed.
