C. Christine Fair is an assistant professor in the Center for Peace and Security Studies (CPASS), part of Georgetown University’s Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service. She has only recently wised up to the opportunity to profit from sale of books attacking Pakistan in India, the world's third largest and currently the fastest growing market for books written in the English language.

Fair on India's Secret War in Pakistan:

Before writing and promoting "Fighting to the End: The Pakistan Army's Way of War", a virulently anti-Pakistan book, Dr. Fair said this in 2009:

"Having visited the Indian mission in Zahedan, Iran, I can assure you they are not issuing visas as the main activity! Moreover, India has run operations from its mission in Mazar (through which it supported the Northern Alliance) and is likely doing so from the other consulates it has reopened in Jalalabad and Qandahar along the border. Indian officials have told me privately that they are pumping money into Baluchistan".

Former US Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel has essentially confirmed Fair's above statement when he said: "India has always used Afghanistan as a second front against Pakistan. India has over the years been financing problems in Pakistan".

On what basis did Chuck Hagel make the statement about India's use of Afghan territory to attack Pakistan? Was he, too, just another victim of conspiracy theories? Off course not. Secretary Hagel had the benefit of intelligence briefings by the CIA given to him in multiple capacities: first as US Senate Intelligence committee member and then as US Defense Secretary.

Fair is Self-Proclaimed "Rambo B**ch":

In recent years, Christine Fair has become a strong advocate of continuing the disastrous neoconservative policies that found favor in former President George W. Bush's administration after 911 terrorist attacks.

Fair has called herself a "Rambo B**ch"; she supports US military interventions around the world; she encourages India's hawkish Hindu Nationalist Prime Minister Narendra Modi to invade Pakistan.

In a Facebook post, Fair called Pakistan “an enemy” and said “We invaded the wrong dog-damned country,” implying the U.S. should have invaded Pakistan, not Afghanistan, according to Salon magazine.

In another Facebook post, Fair insisted that “India needs to woman up and SQUASH Pakistan militarily, diplomatically, politically and economically.” Both India and Pakistan are nuclear states.

Fair Supports US Drone Killings:

Fair strongly supports the US drone killing program that has been questioned even by senior US military commanders who have served in Afghanistan. One such commander is General Michael Flynn who has now been picked by President-elect Donald Trump as his national security advisor.

“When you drop a bomb from a drone… you are going to cause more damage than you are going to cause good,” remarked Michael T. Flynn. The retired Army lieutenant general, who also served as the U.S. Central Command’s director of intelligence, says that “the more bombs we drop, that just… fuels the conflict.”

Summary:

C. Christine Fair's anti-Pakistan rants show that she is a warmonger masquerading as a serious scholar. She calls herself a "Rambo B**ch". She wants both US and India to invade Pakistan knowing that all three countries have nuclear weapons. She strongly supports US drone killings which, in the words of General Michael Flynn, "fuel the conflict".

. .
Isn't this proof enough of Indian supported terrorism in Pakistan?
The rest of the article is well known hawkish suicidal thoughts from some Westerners and Hindus alike..

.
Chuck hagel was not defence secretary when he made that comment in a private pro pakistani function. He became secretary much later.

The article lies about this and claims he had been briefed in the capacity of defence secretary by CIA when he made that statement. He was not even in Senate when he said that. That is of course facts.

Now why would a poster known to post "news" reported by Christina Palmer - blatantly fake news posted by Ahmed Qureishi be concerned with facts when talking about Christina Fair?

So she makes comments that Pakistanis find inimical? Many scholars have strong views. Case in point Noam Chomsky.According to haq he is not a scholar too?

Many scholars engage in self promotion. It's a career after all. Even haq can not help but keep promoting his blog. Does that automatically make him a non scholar? Of course not, it's his lies, his selective reading of data, his spin doctoring that makes him so.

Conclusion - christina fairs work should be judged on its merits. Haqs personal attacks on her are not just shallow and immature (she called herself a rambo bi@@h, really? That's your article is about?), but make no reference to her scholarly work and standing. Mr haq better restrict himself to scholarly works of christina palmer. She is very very pro pakistani lol!

Actually i got to know about her from PDF only..

. . .
Christine fair was initially pragmatic on Pakistan before she was approached by certain lobbies to probe beyond her boundaries. She stepped on the tail of the PA in that process and was unceremoniously shut out and shooed away, the rest is as they say: "Hell hath no fury as a woman scorned"

.
She's now writing a book about India. Let's see how that goes.
She's already upset many Hindus by calling their god Ram a pig! :pissed:

She offends religions. All of them. Her provocation on the matter of religion is not something we use in our countries, but is protected in the US. Heck more abusive posts about hindus get posted here daily.

Ones views on religion, particularly of one who is an equal opportunity offender, do not have a bearing on their scholarly work.

her work should be debunked in a scholarly manner. Not all these sleight of hands and lies like haq pulls.

I don't know where you're trying to go with this terrible post. I know Indians arent big on unbiased and objective information with their Bollywood news regularly churning out material out of their backsides to dump into your mouths, but do you not see a problem when a supposed scholar talks about invading and destroy a country, and then going on to write an 'objective analysis' about said country?

.
She has summed up the debate by herself declarring herself a BIATCHHHHHHH

So she is not a scolar but a bitch, whats the big deal? bitches r everywhere found

Let the bitch bark

She herslef has fallen to the lowest level.of low self esteem, why should pakistanis bother? india deserves such so called scolars after they themself selected a trrrorist like.modi to PM slot

All I said is that if her objective analyses is biased is should be debunked and should be easy to.

Her other twitter posts do not matter. Her posts about Ram included.

But haq decided to invent lies about Chuck hagel instead. That's lazy, but maybe adequate for his lot.

A lot of famous personalities said pretty provocative stuff, if we are going to use that for labelling all their work, that's an intellectually dishonest solution. You accuse us of it, but stand below haq with your mouth open yourself.

Where?
Former US Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel has essentially confirmed Fair's above statement when he said: "India has always used Afghanistan as a second front against Pakistan. India has over the years been financing problems in Pakistan".

Chuck hagel was not defence secretary when he made that comment in a private pro pakistani function. He became secretary much later.

You've essentially confirmed that Chuck Hagel did say it, just not as an official. I'm trying to figure out where the invented lies are in the top quotation.

A lot of famous personalities said pretty provocative stuff,.

She's an academic, not just a 'famous personality'. Her provocative 'stuff' will be subject to a lot more scrutiny than Mel Gibson, because its her words which could potentially decide government policy. Now, it wouldn't matter if she ranted on about American politics or whatnot, because her field of work is South Asian history and geopolitics. And just so you have it, her rants are all related to Pakistan. So her provocative 'stuff' does matter because it will obviously mean she'll have a biased viewpoint.

if we are going to use that for labelling all their work, that's an intellectually dishonest solution

What's intellectually dishonest is even claiming someone who talks about invading Pakistan is unbiased on Pakistan. I'm wondering what mental gymnastics you people put yourself through to even try to defend this.
