In this IBTimes UK video from 2015 Pakistani police use tear gas to break up an attack on a church

A Christian man is on the run from Pakistani police following a charge for blasphemy when his Muslim friend accused him of insulting Islam in WhatsApp message. Pakistan has some of the strictest blasphemy laws in the world and anyone accused of insulting Islam can be sentenced to death.

It has been claimed that the message revealed derogatory words about the Prophet Muhammad and other Islamic holy figures.
Following the incident, local police official Mohammad Asim told the Associated Press that officers were guarding a local church to prevent any violence against the local Christian population, while security has also been increased in Christian neighbourhoods due to local tension concerning the complaint.
Police say Nadeem Masihm James, from the town of Sarai Alamgir, disappeared after the allegations were made, with contradicting reports suggesting that the man's relatives had been taken into "protective custody".

"Police have registered a case on blasphemy charges against Nadeem James and are searching for him as he has fled his home," a local law enforcement official told the AFP news agency.

Pakistan, a Muslim-majority nation, has strict blasphemylaws based on Islam. Anyone found insulting or mocking Islamic principles or religious figures is given harsh punishment including the death penalty.
Rights groups have been arguing against such draconian laws saying they are often used by political forces to settle scores against opponents and minorities in the country.

In June this year (2016), the Anti-Terrorism Court- based in the industrial city of Gujranwala in Pakistan's Punjab province -sentenced two Christians and a Muslim to death for blasphemy. Anjam Naz and Javed Naz, both Christians, and Jafar Ali were found guilty of insulting Prophet Muhammad. The three men are said to have made derogatory remarks against Muhammad in an audio recording.

In November 2014, a total of 44 people were arrested following a mob attack on a Christian couple who allegedly desecrated the Koran. The married man and woman were reportedly beaten and then burned alive in a kiln where they were working.

Christians and dalits are the most percecuted these days.

Blasphemy is biggest crime! No tolerance against blasphemy!
Pakistani laws are complete on this issue.

Do You deny the Holy Trinity?
If You do, You are a Blasphemer.
Do You accept the Holy Trinity?
Sorry, You are STILL a Blasphemer.

I would say that ALL people in Pakistan are Blasphemers,
or you are discriminating minority religions.

Em on 50 50
Problem isnt with law and every country must make there laws according to there traditions , nature , people ,religion which in end must benefit its all citizens.
Now Problem lies with people abuse and miss use of laws If You watch **** on Tv or computer its not the technology fault
its the person behind and same is happening in Pakistan people see this a easy way to make others escape goat

Now Main problem with us Muslims we are forgetting what our prophet Told us and we are just focusing what So called Mullash or Molvies of islam are using us for
Beard is in Islam , Islam is not beard .
People abused , stoned our Holy Prophet ( Peace.Be.Upon.Him) did he replied back did any of his true followers replied back by Force or by word no none of them , he replied with his character his followers replied back with there characters

We tend to forget one thing each and every muslim is the ambassador of Islam. If Our Own Charachter shows the true meaning of a proper muslim No one will Say a bad word against Quran , Prophet or our beliefs .
First we need to change our selfs than we can we can ask others to do that , i have Christians friend and we even talk about religion we discuss all the religions i never see them dis respecting islam or any else
em not saying em a good muslim but em just we need to improve ourselves and show them if em doing something stupid its not because em muslim or em arab or hindu or pakistani or white or black or any other religion or country its just we are humans and we make mistakes and we should judge billions of people because of the mistake of one

Or otherwise i will make PDF an anti-qadyani website where a bundle of material will float against qadyanis. Its a warning. Don't play with the emotions of Muslims. No tolerance on this topic!
