According to the publication of the newspaper "Zhongguo hankun bao" March 17, the Chinese Aviation Industry Corporation AVIC achieved "breakthrough" in the implementation of 3D printing technologies in the production of individual components for aviation products, which led, along with the use of other advanced techniques and technologies, to reduce the complexity in manufacturing and the processing time of these components is 80%. The experiments open the way for new uses of 3D printing technology in the aviation industry.

Pakistani companies like GIDS, NESCOM and Idea Aerospace should work with them in developing our own improved version of this so that we can easily manufacture parts which we need for our engineering industry.

3D printing I am afraid is out of our reach , we will be happy with few dot printers and some black and white photo copiers

We just don't have the infrastructure or the correct Human Resources to develop this area of field locally

We probbaly need 800-900 Million investment on R&D and University grants to develop right technical minds for such technologies.
