The Chinese ambassador proposed a four-point proposal to improve China-India relations. First is that, the two countries could actively explore the feasibility of aligning China’s OBOR initiative and India’s Act East Policy.

His second suggestion is that the two countries begin negotiations regarding good neighborliness and friendly cooperation.

The third proposal is that both countries should restart China-India Free Trade Agreement talks.

And the last suggestion is that India and China should solve the border issue as early as possible.

That's correct. The first two suggestions (aligning geo-economic concepts; "good neighborliness") made by the ambassador are more like diplomatic languages, no concrete substance. The third (FTA) and fourth (border) are ongoing bilateral agenda, not directly related to CPEC let alone its "renaming".

From the very beginning OBOR targets Russia-Mongolia-CAS-Afghanistan-CEE-NW Europe (OB) and ANZ-ASEAN-IOR-ME-Africa-Mediterranean (OR), with Pakistan-CPEC as the fulcrum, and LatAm in the broader sense. Sri Lanka and BD are included, but India was never in the design, though diplomatically speaking welcome to join in due course, and that's why China willing to proceed RCEP with or without India.

Why should Pakistan rename its project because of a jealous country? And Indians are not jealous just because of name, their pains are deeper than a placenta goes in a body.

Indians are both jealous and afraid from CPEC. Jealous because it is shifting the tide of Pakistan's economy, giving it a global prominence and regional control - and afraid because China will end up existing in the North, West and South of India. As a worse case scenario, India used to imagine a two-front war but who's going to plan a three-front war and still think they will come out victorious against two Nuclear countries simultaneously?

So leave Indians. Some time its is best to leave an injured soul broken drug addict alone... so he may fight with his wounds and addictions slowly - perhaps.

China has claim on territory India is occupying. Two front doctrine is not Pakistan's doctrine so why do you think Indians have these fears? Because Pakistan says so?

Two front doctrine is preparing ourselves for 2 front war. But doesnt mean China will enter into a war to justify's Indian war strategy.

Thirdly it will be foolish to assume if PA does not any strategy if Iran declares war or even Afghanistan (though they cant resists for long) on Pakistan. Every country has its strategies. India having fought a war with China will be foolish in not having a strategy. Though not a single bullet has been used on that border since 1986.
