Propaganda paid for by the Indian Government? Whether you name it the Milky Way, or "the highway" or the CPEC...it is a part of China's OBOR initiative. It is a sub project of that overall program. Renaming it to anything else, doesn't do anything to Pakistan. Pakistan will still make billions off it and will progress very fast into the 21st century through it.

I have said it a while ago on here that India, sooner or later, will have to join this project. The upset-girl attitude is only a dramatic show like everything else we see. Now they are getting ready to join it so this media campaign is their way to "clear the path" with respect to the name. They tried their best but couldn't derail it. Now sadly......joining it

Join CPEC in what aspect ? For what ? Can you explain ?

I can only see one reason to join, it is if it has route to afghanistan for india. Which i have not yet seen anywhere.

I have mentioned ChIP as an example to elaborate to the members who were lost on significance of the suggestion made by the Chinese ambassador.

India is in the middle of the India Ocean and has direct sea route access to Persian Gulf, GCC and Africa. India does not need OBOR.

On the other hand China is on the far east of asia open to Pacific ocean only. China needs OBOR to access Persian Gulf, GCC and Africa as practically it is a land locked country on its western front. China needs Iran, Pakistan, Myanmar, Thailand or Malaysia+ Indonesia + Singapore on its side to get entry into Indian ocean.

Lol our land locked western front connect to resource rich central Asia that India is so envy of, they're just our neighbors , and we have Pakistan and Myanmar corridors to provide us with convenient access not Indian Ocean but middle east. Reversely India's trade with North east Asian countries such Korea, Japan, Russia far east and US is not as convenient as China...you see the difference

India knew that it will be isolated for not take part of OBOR that's why it made a lot of noise to get attention, such as playing Dalai Lama card as tit for tat against CPEC and hope that China back down to their demand and worst China got India renamed and India will keep invent subject to get attention.

Chabahar way to access to Afghanistan is just a joke of 21st century, Indian government knew that and why they're dragging their feet over this project but when India realize that they can't compete against CPEC, they use complain tactic trying to kill this project...it's an epic fail thinking.

1.Pakistan already completed highway connecting from east Lahore till west up to Afghan border. This is though not CPEC but its a way to reach Central Asia for India.
2. Other way is from Lahore till China border to connect to Russia and central Asia.
3. From rajasthan till Iranian border which can cover up to Turkey, Moscow & central Asia.

What is China's alternative to GCC Oil and African resources? Central Asia & Russia would provide you gas but how are you going to get the Oil?

What is important to note is China is building not one but multiple entry routes in Indian ocean through OBOR hoping that at least one of them would be open in the time of need. This is the very reason why China is exhorting India to join OBOR. Unlike all the other routes, the route through India would be the safest as India being a larger power compared to the others could withstand any threats of sanctions. Also, It would be a win for India too as it would give India access to Russia through China. So it would would be a win-win situation for both India and China.

OBOR may have some value for India but certainly not CPEC. CPEC's value to India is Zero or negative as it creates another point of contention between India and China as it passes through Kashmir claimed by India.

I don't have to explain. I'll let your own government explain to your people, in such a dramatic way like they talk about the Indian movies. Everything is filled with drama in terms of affairs with India it seems like.

You have no choice but to join this project. Instead of doing it the right way and from the beginning, you guys first wanted to show how "macho-man" you've become and that you could stop the CPEC. Now, that obviously couldn't happen and your entire ops from Baluchistan are gone. Iran has also told you they won't side with you, openly or hidden against the Pakistanis as Pakistanis are protecting their national security by not joining hands with the Saudis against Iran. So its a check mate for India on CPEC. Last option, like I analyzed years ago, is to join the CPEC. Now the dramatic show will be put on to show the Indian public that the "name was changed" . Unbelievable crap and sadly how Indian people believe in their government's drama. This is worst face saving in the worst way possible.

Lol China don't need India to get into IOR , we have CPEC all the way to Gwadar why we need India for that? as to access to Russia via China, I don't think that's part of the deal until a miracle happen...the best is India keep their hope of Chabahar for now. At matter of fact, China get nothing out of India for invite it into OBOR and you ask us to grant India a strategic route to central Asia and Russia as condition to join OBOR, you're really funny .
