China welcomes Japanese people to improve bilateral ties

Yes, once we become a developed country, even America won't want to challenge us, let alone their vassal states.

I think the US will always try to challenge us but not in war. It's still not the right time to take Taiwan back but when our muscles grow so much the US will not fucking dare challenge us for getting the province back. We shall show them who is the real boss in the East China Sea and SCS. Japan can only watch how we control this board game.

We play the cat and mouse game, the later we got, the stronger we got.

China's future prosperity is way more important than the desire to revenge for the past resentment.
It shows that China always bow down to stronger enemy, thats why No hope for coward China to take back Taiwan :pop:

You mistake strategic planning and timing for being a coward.

If this is a bait, we won't bite it. If this is a sincere observation, we won't further be surprised why Vietnam is as it is today.

You should know that it is Japan who wants to normalize our relationship.

They have sent their delegation to Beijing, not we sent ours to Tokyo.
JP has sent their delegation to Beijing, but they still control Senkaku island and support TW against China. China even dare not to tell JP to hand off Senkaku and TW:pop:

Cheap lip service is enough to make China here happy

People always see JP has better strategic plan than China. Senkaku still belong to JP , and TWese still love JP more than China.

I think Taiwan will be taken back in 2020, since this is the deadline.

But right now let's focus more to become the biggest economy on Earth, and we don't want to see this procedure to be interrupted by any foreseeable event in the near future.

Don't worry about Diaoyu Island & Taiwan for China, I suggest you worry about the SCS. :enjoy:

Which people are they? Both China and Japan are Asian nation-states and have a shared history; influence and culture moving largely from China to Japan, including their strategic thinking. Throughout the 20th century, they may have had a moment of superiority, but, China has been stronger most of the recorded history.

Today, China is much stronger in terms of national power; yet, it does not show much muscle to Japan, hoping to get things done without wasting life and wealth from both sides. Japanese are anticipated to understand that. Hopefully, progressive forces in Japan will prevail over reactionaries. Abe is a historical accident, we hope.

You should live in Taiwan to know who they love most. Taiwanese watch Korean dramas, too, but, on average, more TV stations air Chinese dramas than Japanese ones. Many Korean dramas, too.

In terms of Kawai culture, Japan once ruled the whole world, not simply Taiwan.

Also do not forget, Taiwan still contests Diaoyu Dai.

Chinese people are generally very forgiven.

See how many Han people have been slaughtered by the Mongolians and Manchus in the past, but today they all identify themselves as Chinese, so all the unpleasant past is now gone.

We don't want Japan to erase their national identity and to assimilate into China, but if they can apologize for what they have done to China in the past, the we can still be friends and to build up a prosperous Asia together in the future.
But our stick better be ten times bigger than their stick or else.

It is pretty much 10 times bigger or even more.

Don't expect them to suddenly find out the conscience, since China was way more tolerant back in the pre-WWII era. However, it didn't stop the invasion from the Imperial Japan.

Of course. always offer resolve with one hand while holding a gun with the other. Chinese people too forgiving, that's why they need reminders sometimes.

Since they have been militarily restricted by the US after the defeat of the WWII, so it caused their military industry to be left behind in 60 years ago, and until now, it is still not 100% self-sufficient and relied on the US on the most critical components.

So this is the chain that wrapped around Japan's neck. If they want to live under a prosperous Asia, then they must live under China's umbrella, and this Pacifist Constitution must remain unchanged.

Since Japan is always a cunning nation, they are always waiting to bite back when they think the larger nations have became weaker.

Japan is a country who only respect the strongman. Remember the Imjin War? It took the Ming army to intervene and help Joseon's Korea defeat Japan and forcefully return Japan back to the tributary state. At that time, the Ming was POWERFUL. The US is POWERFUL and that is why Japan fear them. The Japanese only fear big gun, a lot of them. In order to bring peace and stability in Asia, we must strive to be the most powerful country militarily on earth. I consider our power is equivalent of the USA in 1914, exactly 100 years ago at the outbreak of World War 1. We know at that time, US is an industrial monster while the British Empire was a global superpower with the most influential and had the biggest gun. By 1945, the US simply grow too strong that they can take on the British Empire and any world powers. By 1960s, the US is a superpower rival that with the Soviet Union. By 1990s, the US became the undisputed superpower with no rivals. If history repeats itself, I can see our projection of power will be similar to the US's ascending superstardom. By 2045s, we will be strong enough to take on any world powers. By 2060s, we will be a rival superpower with the US in all aspects, economy, military, technology, manpower, quality/quantity. By 2090s, we will suffocate the US with our growing strength in quantity that make the US looks like Russia to that of SU. There is a reason the 21st century belongs to us!
