China wants 'BRICS plus' to include 'friendly' countries, plan might hurt India's interests

and what would stop India inviting Vietnam, Indonesia to the BRICS plus then? and why should India object to any other countries joining the BRICS? its not really a security grouping. its just an economic grouping. it might even help in bridging the economic pacts - like the pipeline from India to Central Asia etc

. .
and what would stop India inviting Vietnam, Indonesia to the BRICS plus then?
China.

As a result nobody will get in BRICS, and it will remain similar for ever like UNSC.

China is all about "Inclusive" development, both at home and abroad. Good going!
Yes, india had a good taste of this policy last year.

.
One more step toward isolation of Pakistan ...:partay:

. .
And not to forget Pakistan's position on India's SC bid. Knowing that they can't get in, they just want to sabotage Indian claim. Atleast in NSG China claims they should be let in.

Now THAT is the height of jealousy and insecurity.
This is the pre-emptive measures against the worst enemy one can have.

.
Practice what you preach and open up your trade routes to Afghanistan and CAR for india to access.
Let's see how generous Pakistan is to "benefit its neighbors"
India first stop supporting TTP ... Pakistan has geniune concern ... We are facing proved terrorist attacks from Afghanistan not like Indain brain fart terrorism ...

.
That's because India feel inferior in front of Mighty China
Is that the same logic for expanding NSG or permanent members in SC? Are you paranoid of India;s rise or you scared of Japan?

Indian paranoia and insecurities know no boundries.

Seriously!

Any small thing happening in the neighborhood which could benefit a neighbouring country makes this "Dehati Aurat" getting a heart attack.

Someone has rightly said, India is an elephant with a brain size of a mouse!
If that neighbouring country is Pakistan, then yes it is a problem because it is well established fact that Pakistan is creating trouble in India by various means and China is helping Pakistan by blocking international effort of putting pressure on Pakistan to arrest international terrorists roaming freely in pakistan.

Thats not the point.

The point is India being extremely paranoid and insecure about anything that could benefit any of her neighbors.

Be it some business hub in Nepal, a building in Sri Lanka, a port in Bangladesh or Chinese investment in Pakistan.

India is always getting her panties in twist.

This region is so unfortunate to have this "Dehati Aurat" - a fake country called "India" - as a neighbor!
The point is Pakistan is the hub of all contradiction. India and Pakistan cannot be in the same club if you want a productive engagement due to political compulsions. So, adding Pakistan in this group will only be counter productive. . Plus what value Pakistan is gonna bring to table which you think make it eligible for BRICS?

. .
India is an unreliable member for everyone. Its India who has officially dismantled SAARC so China won't like to be a part of an organization where India stands as major stake holder thus involving other friendly countries like Pakistan is a good option if BRICS like to have some recognition globally.

.
Says the guy who was supposed to be part of the NSG by December last year LMAO Wearing a fake turban won't turn you into a dynasty.

We'll fvcking see whether it is a picnic or not. China rules the roost. You are just a member.

There is no member concept in BRICS,
the name it's self clear.

China did allow you to enter SCO and didn't make a big fuss about it. This is how mature nations behave.

Whereas India ALWAYS has concerns, worries, paranoia about anything as small as construction of a business building in a neighboring country, so no one cares about your paranoia.

Interesting, coming from someone who has just rented out their country to USA to be used as launching pad against China.

Your country it's self sold to china and commenting about other's

What a Fully

. . .
Has BRICS provided any benefit to the countries involved or is it just a ego polishing exercise to be a member ?
I feel India needs to diassociate itself from these useless groups whether Commenwealth(most useless), BRICS, G20, etc.
All countries have totally independent trade alliances and these provide no benefit.
