China vs. USA

Gu Ailin has been using a Chinese passport. Why do you say she is not Chinese?
If you want to prove that she has U.S. citizenship, please catch her using U.S. passport first.
We gone thru this before. Eileen Gu is US borned, that automatically make her US citizen.

The primary purpose of a passport is not to prove citizenship, but to facilitate international travel. If you are coming into my country, I have the right to know your origin, and for now, the best method is the passport. That the passport is granted to citizens is a necessity because why would you give passport to anyone. So when you add the two components together, the passport became a convenient and valuable proof of citizenship. The same with the driver's license. The driver's license's primary purpose is not to prove citizenship, or residence, or that you can see, or that you can read and write, but to show that you passed the minimum competency to operate a car. All those things are conveniences that just happened to accompany the proof of competency to operate a car.

The ultimate proof of citizenship is where one is borned, grew up, educated, and lived. Eileen Gu bought her Chinese citizenship -- for cheap.

The American passport is more convenient than the Chinese passport. If Gu Ailing is an American, she will use a more convenient American passport.

Now Gu Ailing has been using a Chinese passport, which proves that she does not have a US passport and is not a US citizen.

Please list all the countries she is supposedly using her Chinese passport and the alleged proof of it. What China? You think using an America passport to get into China is better than a Chinese one?

Also don’t try posting this Chinese nonsense about how her American passport automatically expired when she turned 18…because that is pure made up BS.

She has been internationally traveling for years using her American passport… long before the Olympics. To say that it is automatically invalidated somehow just before/after the Olympics is just stupid.

Please show us proof that she is exclusively using a Chinese passport before claiming such things.

Gu Ailing has repeatedly displayed on Sina Weibo that she entered China with a Chinese passport. You can visit her Weibo account.

On the contrary, have American journalists caught her using an American passport? Even once is OK.

Well duh using a Chinese passport to get into China makes sense as it requires no paperwork

How about her travels to Europe a few months ago. Using an American passport requires no paperwork…but a Chinese one does. Why do you think she was using a Chinese one?

Gu ailing often posted photos of her using a Chinese passport on her Weibo. You can go to her Sina Weibo to confirm. On the contrary, American journalists have never discovered that she uses an American passport, otherwise it would be a big news.

Also, you can go to her Sina Weibo to see her microblog when she was a child. Gu ailing thought she was Chinese as early as 2013, and she studied in primary and secondary schools in China.

Therefore, please don't say that she chose Chinese nationality for money.

So do those posts actually show her using her Chinese passport to get into Europe or just China?

Nobody thinks she doesn’t feel Chinese. Her mother is a Chinese national and her father may be a white Harvard sperm bank donor.

If she permanently moved to China it wouldn’t be a big stretch as to why. Her mother isn’t even a US citizen (actually her mother’s citizenship also has questions)

The real question is why her Chinese national
mother hadn’t dragged her back to China years ago. Apparently the answer is that the US was a far better place to raise her child than China.

forget all that, how did she travel back to the US? did she apply for a US visa in Beijing? second, she applied for the US Presidential Scholars Program in 2021. This scholarship program is only available to US citizens. Then there is the federal list of all citizens that have renounced their citizenship, Gu's name isn't on that list.

But no CPC bots are convinced Gu has given up her US passport and is waiting in long visa application queues outside embassies before she travels to Europe and other parts of the world that require a valid visa for Chinese passport holders.

I have made it very clear. Almost all the time she uses her passport, she will show on Weibo that she is using a Chinese passport. Whether in Europe or China.

Why can't Chinese people live in America? China is a tropical and temperate country, and she is a skier. She can only find good skiing facilities in the USA or Canada.

You showed the passport pic from February during the Olympics. How about posting the one from May when she was in Cannes since you say she “almost all the time” posts them on WeChat and it is easy to grab.

You found the February real quick.:you should be able to find the May one quicker.

Or is the one from February a one-off that you somehow extrapolated as “almost always”.

Gu Ailing has already explained.

1. The list of renunciation of nationality published by the US Internal Revenue Service only includes those whose assets exceed US $2 million. Most of Gu Ailing's assets are not in her personal name, and her personal assets are less than 2 million US dollars.

2. The "presidential scholar" is not only available to US citizens, but also to people with us green cards.

Dude, she is US Citizens.

Let's see what she did.

She had a job (Paid job) in US working as sponsor and spokesperson for Apple, Victoria Secret, Reb Bull, she also have a paid gig on representation for Luckin’ Coffee, you cannot legally work in US for money without a valid work right, if she had given up her US citizenship, she, being that high profile, would probably be deported back to China.

Also, she gains US Citizenship as she was born in the US, like it or not, everyone born in the US (except diplomat) automatically acquire US Citzenship.

And there are only 1 way to denounce it, and as per US Constitution and BATF law, all US Citizen renouncing their Citizenship are required to publish their renouncement in a quarterly review. Her name does not exist since 1994 edition.

Which mean she is a US Citizens, because she would have acquired US citizenship by birth, she HAD NOT renounced her Citizenship, and she is working in the US in exchange of Payment.

Whether or not she uses US passport is beside the point, and whether or not she applies for US Passport is beside the point either, I have Swedish Citizenship, yet I NEVER APPLIED FOR A SWEDISH PASSPORT. Passport is for travel, it does not grant you Citizenship.

2. The "presidential scholar" is not only available to US citizens, but also to people with us green cards.
The problem is, she CANNNOT get green card if she had US citizenship.

You cannot reapply for US Green Card or Citizenship if you had renounced it.

Dear PDF members of the United States. We all know that American journalists are very powerful. Why haven't these reporters caught Gu ailing using an American passport once? If Gu Ailing is caught using an American passport, it will be big news.

If you want to prove that Gu Ailing has U.S. citizenship, please go to find the evidence that she uses the U.S. passport. Only this evidence is conclusive.

Don't pester me! Who claims and who provides evidence. If you think she has American nationality, so you should search for evidence.

A person born in the United States who is subject to the jurisdiction of the United States is a U.S. citizen at birth, to include a child born to a member of an Indian, Eskimo, Aleutian, or other aboriginal tribe.[1]

In general, a person born outside of the United States may acquire citizenship at birth if all of the following requirements are met at the time of the person’s birth:

  • The person is a child[2] of a U.S. citizen parent(s);
  • The U.S. citizen parent meets certain residence or physical presence requirements in the United States or an outlying possession before the person’s birth in accordance with the applicable provision;[3] and
  • The person meets all other applicable requirements under either INA 301 or INA 309.
Until the Act of October 10, 1978, persons who had acquired U.S. citizenship through birth outside of the United States to one U.S. citizen parent had to meet certain physical presence requirements to retain their citizenship. This legislation eliminated retention requirements for persons who were born after October 10, 1952. There may be cases where a person who was born before that date, and therefore subject to the retention requirements, may have failed to retain citizenship.[4]

An officer should determine whether a person acquired citizenship at birth by referring to the applicable statutory provisions and conditions that existed at the time of the person’s birth. These provisions have been modified extensively over the years.[5] The following sections provide the current law.

She had US Citizenship at birth. According to USCIS

Now, if she had renounce her Citizenship, her name will appear in the below publication.

My proof is. her name DID NOT appear in any of this publication, which mean she HAD NOT renounced her US CItizenship given to her as per USCIS Chapter 3.

Now, it's your turn to proof she did not have US Citizenship

Chinese citizens born in the USA do have dual nationality before the age of 18, which is allowed by Chinese and American laws. The problem is that after the age of 18, she must make a choice. You can judge her choice by checking her travel documents.

We are now discussing Gu Ailing's nationality after the age of 18, not before the age of 18. I did not deny that she had American citizenship before she was 18.
