A lot has been written about China, India, and US, and the future of the world.

But what's really the best for India right now. I will only talk about India.


Strong China, weak China, victorious China, defeated China. That is the question.

To me the answer is obvious, but it's apparently not so to everyone else. A strong China is advantageous to India in the long run.

Most Indians and observers looks to our border conflict and close proximity, and the battle for economic domination, but that is short sighted and for economics, it's not even looking at the right place.

I'm not dissing the Indians, but China and India isn't competing in economics, we are not at the same place, India is trying to break into the low end manufacturing market while China is only now gearing to battle America for high end manufacturing and service supremacy.

India does have some good companies, but India also has 1.2 billion and soon to be way more. Those companies are not even close enough to help 10% of the population, much less all of them. India needs low end, low tech manufacturing to pull its poor out of poverty like China has done. That's not what I think, that's just a fact. Unless India can come up with a plan of creating a job that requires little to no technical know how and little to no investment needed.

Now let's get to the heart of the problem, for China and India, the key is the US. China is at a stage where US and China can no longer avoid each other anymore, so our conflicts will become more and more apparent, but India threatens US in no way right now, so the response is mute at best.

If China loses this battle, India will one day be at China's position, would India fare better than China did today? The chances are not good.

On the other hand if China wins, US will not disappear, there would be a divide East vs West. America will no longer be the SOLE dominate power in the world.

If India is lucky this would give India a relative easy entry into the super power stage if you ever get there for we both would want another power on our side and no one will dare to move against a third power for fear of forcing an alliance against the former.

If this were to happen.

All India would "lose," is almost nothing, China would control the China seas, and will continue to go at America in the Indian ocean and beyond, but this time it is different. China won't be the only super power in there, there is also the US, which gives India the chance to keep this balance to advance it's own interests, until it can assert it's dominance in the region if it ever comes to that.


For India to become a great nation, it is far more likely IF, China is at a point where we can balance the states, than if US is the only power.

India is not inimically opposed to either China or the US.

Indians are somewhat against China(mostly the PDF Indians) because India has a border dispute with China. If that dispute is solved, Indians(globally) would probably be as comfy with China as they are with US.

Despite what many Indians say on PDF, we are not really looking for Superpower status, our domestic politics is NOT based on any super power dreams. It is based on poverty. What we are looking for is to make a better life for our people - economic upliftment is the NUMBER 1 issue in India.

To that end, we will leverage any and all countries to support us in this path - whether that be Japan or US or Mexico or Israel...or North Korea. If the border dispute with China is even more or less solved, then China would probably on account of being geographically closer, develop closer relations with India than any other major country in the world.

We had been a leading economy for 17 century out of 20. What we just need is some good and visionary politician to rise to that level. We are not in in competition nor we endorse those wealth criterion as sole measure of economic development. our focus is happiness and not money. We want a happy India. We want each of our brilliant citizen to participate in our vision of shining and glorious India. We want an India where children take very good care of parents. Krishna and Sudama (Son of king and poor) Study in same (Gurukul) School. We want an india where there will be a peace. The pain or pleasure is share by all. We have that in our society but in effect of western culture, some of our breathers have forgotten it. We want to revive it and get happy. We want our temple to be as prosperous like padmanabh swamy temple and become center of social services. Our Vision of glorious India differ from the Vision of other citizen for their country.

Meanwhile our policy will be being enough strong on eastern border and retaining superiority on western border.

WE need a good stable economic growth of 7 to 7.8% for at least 10 years too.

Some chinese really mistaken us.We have no superpower ambitions.Indian government effort for removing poverty gave us many possibility.Within 10 years middile class people numbers increase from 5to35 crores.low middle class is additional .Due to this growth our international signature increase.thats all.Rest of superpower rant is western medias contribution.
Stronger China is India interest.
Because India is not like Japan or Britian.So US closely watch India.A minor diplomatic row show the trust gap with India and US.
So we need to increase our power.but that must be in shadow ofChina.So west will not take aggresive action against India.Now there all attention is towards China.When we complete our effort our poverty will considerably reduce.No superpower dream.But our status will increase
