China urges Philippines to abandon illusions on S. China Sea case

. . .
They are being instigated by their ex/neo-colonial master. Philippines better snap out of their delusional trance before its too late.

The problem is the newly-discovered old master is not known to be particularly caring about allies when the stakes are too high. The only way for the Philippines to elicit meaningful support is to prove their worth for the trouble.

Then it all comes down to how much the Philippines be "opening up" to the US military. US allies also understand well that to placate the US regime, they have to offer something related to military.

Now that Vietnam has been unwilling to "open up" so widely, the Philippines might actually have a good chance.

Noynoy is blinded too much by his belief that america will back our country full-time if shit hits the flame. I'm definitely hoping that our next leader won't have the same thinking.

.
Now, this is called bullying.

Right. The power dynamics between the two countries is simply staggering. China could simply snap its fingers or smack the Philippines upside the head and Filipinos would be crying of weapons of mass destruction are being used against them by China.

Like I said, Philippines is a stooge being used by its ex/neo colonial overlord to start sh*t and cause trouble for China and the South China Sea. Too bad for Philippines is that they will ultimately pay the price for their idiocy. USA have a long track record of abandoning their little vassals when the risk of damage to themselves are too great.

If in fact China had malicious designs on the Philippines it would do like the USA and Japan did and colonize and butcher the Filipinos into submission. Is that what Filipinos want? Because that is sure as hell not what China wants.

Chinese Bragster here expect that since they are powerfull small countries around them should bow before them and do as they please.
This is nothing short of bullying

It's not bragging, buddy. It is utter and brutal honesty. I don't want China to hurt Philippines because they are so minuscule and powerless in comparison to China, but by the same token, don't expect China to cede to Philippines demands.

Thats's why international arbitration is a must. China refuses to be a part of it cos it knows it will lose as its claim is based on vague history maps issued only in the 1950's. China wont stand down. Phillipines or the other nations wont. So what is the solution?

China should answer the summons of ITCLOS to validate their illusions i mean their claims to the west Philippine sea

LMFAO. Nobody, i mean, NOBODY in the wold refers it to 'West Philippines Sea' you doofus.

Actually, no, China will not give that privilege to the Philippines lol. Not a chance. China already clearly stated its position. It is the Philippines that must decide what it must do. Declare war on China for supposedly 'invading' Philippines territory? or perhaps put sanctions on China? Well, whatever it is, it is their sole decision. Just don't cry when the Philippines development is set back 100 years.

It is not about why we should or should not go the arbitration but why are we being target and force to go when there are disputes between Vietnam & Philippines. You see, UNCLOS law allow country to reject going to arbitration if they fell it is unfair. This fact of unilateral by a midget is what we object.

That's why i told some of those members that if they (ASEAN) can't agree among themselves, they already loss. They just can't accept the reality of geopolitics.
