  作为世界三大高性能纤维之一的芳纶类纤维是重要战略物资,在国防、航空、航天及民用领域应用广泛,目前只有美、日、俄等少数国家实现工业化生产。

  中国工程院院士蒋士成、哈尔滨工业大学教授黄玉东等专家鉴定认为,年产50吨F-12纤维产业化生产线投产后,可稳定生产多种规格的F-12纤维,产品性能与国外同类纤维相当,纤维稳定性能够满足航空、航天用户要求,可更广泛应用于能源、交通、建筑等工程领域。
  
  F-12高强有机纤维属于芳纶类纤维,显黄褐色,有明显的金属光泽,具有高比强度、高比模量、低密度等优异性能,也是当前高新技术纤维领域最具代表性的品种之一。

  F-12纤维拉伸强度平均可达4.6GPa,弹性模量可达110~170GPa,伸长率3.5~4.5%,密度1.44g/Cm3,达到国内领先水平。F-12纤维强度是同样直径钢丝的8-10倍,韧性是同样直径钢丝的3倍,而重量仅为同样直径钢丝的1/5左右。

This is comparison between Kevlar 149 and F-12. The lesser versions of Kevlar (Kevlar 29 and Kevlar 49, etc) are significantly weaker than Kevlar 149.
