Since the year 2000, the US world power and decreased by many folds. Running away from Iraq and Afghanistan really hurt their image and by 2040 US will be Black/Mexican majority nation. In 50years time US will likely balkanise along ethnic and political lines at best and civil war and destruction at worst.
China knows how to play the long game and watch the show with popcorn in hand.
US is repeating all the mistakes that Roman empire made during its collapse. Drug/sex seeking becomes priority (drug legalisation), hedonism, sexual identity/gender becomes main issue and homosexual behavior becomes popular, people become lazier and poorer while complaining rather than doing something etc. America is going to collapse demographically, socially, culturally due to the above reasons.
