Over the past few years, some anti-China politicians in the United States, out of their selfish political interests and prejudice and hatred against China and showing no regard for the interests of the Chinese and American people, have planned, promoted and executed a series of crazy moves which have gravely interfered in China's internal affairs, undermined China's interests, offended the Chinese people, and seriously disrupted China-U.S. relations. The Chinese government is firmly resolved to defend China's national sovereignty, security and development interests. China has decided to sanction 28 persons who have seriously violated China's sovereignty and who have been mainly responsible for such U.S. moves on China-related issues. They include Michael R. Pompeo, Peter K. Navarro, Robert C. O'Brien, David R. Stilwell, Matthew Pottinger, Alex M. Azar II, Keith J. Krach, and Kelly D. K. Craft of the Trump administration as well as John R. Bolton and Stephen K. Bannon. These individuals and their immediate family members are prohibited from entering the mainland, Hong Kong and Macao of China. They and companies and institutions associated with them are also restricted from doing business with China

This seems to be an attempt to spoil the chances of the targeted officials post-presidency futures as CEOs, managers, advisers, speakers or employees with big ticket companies, where often they find employment after their stint.
Since big companies often have business relationships with China , they will probably avoid employing these to prevent complications later.

They just need to kowtow in front of China embassy and admit their mistakes will do. We Chinese are forgiving. :enjoy:

And Pompeo's president ambition doesn't seem to have a bright future because it is very hard for him to get donations from big companies.

What the hell does this even do? I doubt Pompeo has any Chinese assets.

With their narrow-mindedness, China is probably doing the world a favor banning these menaces.
Only an apprentice like Trump would have selected them in the first place.
Mike Pompeo is the only US Secretary of State whose primary mission is to badmouth another nation which he has never stepped his foot on from the day he was appointed as one.
:sarcastic: :sarcastic: :sarcastic:
Coincidently I have predicted this and wrote about it months ago.
i am glad China did it and as soon as Trump step down.

I am reading a book called Dark Towers and in the book it described how Trump is well known for strifing his creditors.

His organisations owes Germany Deutsche Bank and China banks billions. Now Deutsche Bank is in deep trouble, thanks to him.

Are these his tactics or his real motives as to why he wanted to create animosity and bad relationship between USA and both these nations?

It does absolutely nothing. More symbolic than anything else.

I’m not a fan of Pompeo, but I’m sure he won’t lose any sleep over this.
It does about as much as US sanctions on Chinese officials do. Guess they'll never be able to set foot in a McDonalds again.

Oh, wait, it actually does much more. It makes every turncoat American CEO who would sell his own mother into slavery to get a whiff of the Chinese market (i.e., every American CEO) treat Pompeo like he's radioactive. Good for them, maybe more of those CEOs can visit China a do a little strip tease like Elon.

As I already stated previously, he probably won’t lose any sleep at night.

But if it makes you feel any better, my American hating friend, I’m sure it does goes both ways. Mostly symbolic .:enjoy:

We shall see. By the way, I don't hate America at all - my hate is reserved for those things worthy of hate, which America is beneath. What I hold toward America is contempt.

When the US sanctions someone, their credit cards (Mastercard or Visa) stops working, international banks block your transactions, hard time travelling abroad with a lot of cash and even if you have other credit cards, banks will still refuse your transactions. Add to that doing business or sending your kids to 'Harvard' is not possible like emperor Xi did.

When China sanctions someone, ---------- your granddaughter can't get Cindrella toy?
