CHINA pays people up to $8,000 for information on their ‘bearded’ Muslim neighbors

There have been many terrorist knife attacks by Uighurs killing innocent people. As an authoritarian state, China can take any measures it sees fit to prevent these killings and ensure public safety, including safety of the Uighur population. Except for old people and mostly in Kashgar, I don't remember seeing too many bearded Uighur young people. So beard is kind of unusual among Uighurs, if I remember correctly.

Democracies and countries claiming to be democracies have to be held to a higher standard, not so for China. They obviously have a different model, which they claim to be more effective and efficient in running a country and they have the results to prove their point.

Uighur expats living in the West providing tacit support for these violent separatists should remember that they are giving a bad name to Muslims, just like other extremists in the Middle East and elsewhere. The fake sympathy they get from the West and some other countries are fake because these countries are engaged in war against Muslims on a global scale and want to create a rift between China and Muslim countries using these clueless Uighurs, giving them a false hope for independence. Essentially a section of these Uighur expats I believe are being used as useful idiots in international geopolitics, to recruit China in their "GWOT".

Like @Genesis mentioned, most Muslim majority countries of the world have good relations with China and Chinese people, because they do not hate us for who we are, which could not be said for others, thanks to Zionist media brain washing. There are millions of Hui Muslim ethnic group who have no problem in China, nor does, Kyrgyz, Kazakh or Tajik, it is only a small number of Uighurs who are having problems. The billion plus Muslims of the world, including Turkey should take care to explain these realities to these small number of clueless Uighurs about the results of their actions.

Oh boy bad precedent set..expect 10 years down the line for the list to start expanding.

You say "this can't be done is the USA"...well once a little step is taken it ends up turning into multiple steps down the line. Once a precedent is accepted it is hard to roll back.

That's like everybody saying the US should stop using drones because you are setting a bad precedent that it is ok to kill people who are just suspects. Once that is accepted drones will be the norm.

Had this been American or Europe or any other western country people would be crying racial/religious profiling!

@Zarvan @Aeronaut @Developereo any comments?

It this case it would be either termed as "Western propaganda" or "their country their rules".

According to Uyghur sources thousands of Uyghur Muslims have been killed by the Chinese government. If you can believe the Rohingya figures of thousands being killed in Myanmar why don't you want to believe the Uyghur figures?

In this case they would trust only Chinese official figures.

Democracies and countries claiming to be democracies have to be held to a higher standard, not so for China.

Typical apologists. That is the most ridiculous argument that you lot frequently come up with. How does it matter who claims to be what? Someone's suffering doesn't depend on what the country claims to be you dimwit.
