There has been an uproar recently about Indian call centers. Although English is an official language of India, many Canadians and muricans cannot understand the Inglish accent. Many problems were not solved. I had to request to speak to a person in North America.

Yah, the accent is pretty irritating. Pinoy accent is nicer...even the people are friendlier, Indians tend to be irritating as well.

Personally, I think it's because that's the perfect expression of Indian fatalism and denial. It's a gesture that signals absolutely nothing, which is what Indians intend to do about India's problems.
