Well apparently Chinese EV companies are incompetent too..but I'm not surprised.
Make sure you don't make any excuses for these supposedly "up and coming" Chinese nobodys who had incredibly pathetic production numbers last month.
Tesla’s Shanghai plant has been closed since March 28th.

Coronavirus: April deliveries of smart EVs plunge at Nio, Li Auto and Xpeng as Shanghai’s lockdown strains Tesla rivals’ supply chain to breaking point
- Nio’s April deliveries declined by 49.2 per cent to a six-month low of 5,074 vehicles, after it halted its assembly in the Anhui provincial capital of Hefei for five days
- Li Auto in Beijing handed 4,167 EVs last month to buyers, 62.3 per cent fewer than in March, while Xpeng’s deliveries fell 41.6 per cent
At least Tesla wasn't completely stupid and didn't put all their eggs in one basket by having factories only in unreliable China like the above Chinese EV's did causing their worldwide sales to be a disaster.
Tesla's factories in California, Austin, and Germany were up and running satisfying demand.
