BEIJING (Reuters) - China's trade surplus with the United States stood at $32.46 billion in July, Reuters calculations based on Chinese customs data showed on Friday, up from a $29.41 billion surplus a month earlier.

For the first seven months of the year, China's trade surplus with the United States totalled $153.58 billion.

U.S.-China tensions have been rapidly escalating ahead of the United State's presidential election. U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said on Sunday that President Trump will shortly take action on Chinese software companies that pose a risk to U.S. national security.

This must be horrifying news for you lot.

This must be fake news because according to PDF the US economy has already collapsed with the entire country out of work due to COVID-19. Plus with nobody having $500 in the bank and the middle class already in deep decline having millions of people paying $10,000 out of their pocket for Coronavirus tests and $50,000+ for hospital stays has pushed the entire country into poverty and nobody now has the money to buy even a cup of coffee. All the small businesses in the country have failed and gone into bankruptcy due to the ongoing complete shutdown.

Also since everybody is barricaded in their homes in fear (with the millions of new guns sold in the last few months and ammunition stockpiles emptied) defending themselves from all the millions of Black Lives Matters protestors running wildly amok through all our streets how can we go out and buy anything? The entire country is actually hiding in their basements with only canned vegetables (because all the store shelves are empty) and all the meat processing plants have closed due to all the workers being sick.

So either this is fake news or YOU crazies here are completely exaggerating the situation in the US.

I know the situation in the US is bad but the crazies posted article after article giving crazy evidence of Chinese economy becoming totally isolated, shut out of the international economic system and spectacularly crashing out.

The conditions are so bad I'm already applying for Chinese citizenship as we speak!
I've started sporting a lot more communist red in anticipation and started using "R" instead of "L" in my spoken English words so my transition to China is more seamless.
I've also made it a point to start trolling the US and India online to prove my loyalty. My 0.50 cent cheques are yet to arrive, but I am hopeful they will come soon so I can pay for healthcare and my depleting bank account.

Wasn't there a recent article that US economy suffered something like a 30%+ crash while according to the OP, the Chinese exports have grown at American expense?

I mean, one economy is growing while another is suffering.

Who am I to believe? Which is the correct about the two economies?
