I like China but I don't trust China. I know China helped us several times and I am thankful to them but I don't understand their expansion policy. If you look at the map of the world, you can think about a few things. Why CPEC project only in Pakistan? Why Gwadar is so important for China? I think we all know the real game. Think tanks, they know. I am happy for China but I don't like its system and its policies. We must not select a side between two powerful sides. We must never use our areas against old friends. CPEC energy supply is just another back door supply for china in the future, of course pakistan also benefits for all the developments it bring to the country. But, china will not expect that CPEC line to be safe and used by china in times of war or clash with the us. The logic is if us is able to blockade the suppy line through malacca strait, sure they will be able to cut off the supply line through gwader to china. The strategic value of gwader supply line to china is over stated, actually pakistan has more to gain from the development.

A US military person talking about the capabilities of their forces vs another country would mean they know the capabilities of that other country very well or they are just chest thumping like a number of you guys on here.

In a war the airforce does not act alone. Also the USAF if their objective was to neutralise the Chinese AF then you can bet a nuclear exchange is inevitable. Dispute Biden also thumping his chest and the experiences in the Russia, Ukraine War, the US in reality is unlikely to go to war with China for Taiwan. The main reason being doing so you enter a uncontrollable scenario where use of nukes gos up 100 fold.
