BEIJING, Aug. 29 (Xinhua) -- Chinese border troops are continuing their patrolling and defending the Dong Lang (Doklam) area, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson said Tuesday.

"We will make an overall assessment of the weather conditions and all related factors, and according to the actual circumstances complete construction plans for the Dong Lang (Doklam) area," spokesperson Hua Chunying told a daily news briefing.

On June 18, over 270 armed Indian troops with two bulldozers crossed the boundary into Dong Lang (Doklam), Chinese sovereign territory, to obstruct infrastructure construction.

China Monday confirmed that India had withdrawn personnel and equipment from Dong Lang (Doklam) after a military stand-off lasting more than two months.

The FM says 'subject to local conditions' , which clearly indicates weather conditions.

This means construction will proceed as planned after India's removal from the area along with their equipments.

The area is now being monitored by China and India's further possible action would be stopped.

There has been no agreement in which China made any concessions, hence it is India's decision based upon their internal unfavorable situation as well China's pressure that forced India to retreat without any tangible gain.

They just delayed China's regional development plans in the said area, but, since China allowed no communication, India withdrew without getting any promise.

If this makes Indians white with elation, then, it proves Indians are an easy bunch to emotionally play with.
