I find the Chinese justice system very good and apt for criminals - Speedy justice delivered in time

China has executed a man who kept six women as "sex slaves" and forced three of them to kill two of their fellow captives, state media report.

Li Hao, 36, from Henan province was sentenced to death in 2012 for charges that included murder, rape, organised prostitution and illegal detention.

He had built a dungeon at a basement where he held the women, until one escaped in 2011 and reported him.

Police said Li wanted to make money by forcing the women into prostitution.

The execution was reported by state-run Xinhua news agency and confirmed by court officials in Henan.

Li built the dungeon in Luoyang city in 2009. He kidnapped the women and held some of them for up to 21 months, previous reports said.

He repeatedly raped the women, aged between 16 to 23 at the time, and made them perform in pornographic web shows.

In addition, Li coerced three of the women to kill two of the other captives.

One woman received a jail term of three years and two others were put on probation for the murders, Xinhua news agency previously reported.

Li, who was married at the time of his arrest, worked as a local government clerk.

Good Job,,,
We need the same treatment in our country too..

This case is a typical and strong testament to 2 things
1. we are perhaps the strictest on serious sex offenders and heinous crimes like this one. ZERO tolerance
2. there is no cover-up of of rape crimes contrary to the nonsense claimed by haters (most of them indians)

I can hardly believe bbc can find out the news without getting it from local reporting
if this is so then bbc hasnt quote the source as it should for responsible journalism. bbc is unethical!

the news is covered on all major media in China. it is even written on our web-encyclopdeia:and the largest vid portal

And when I said I opt for this and is the right thing....no one listens... :tsk:

Good going China!

Back when Deng was still alive, we just opened up to the West, China was in Chaos, years of Mao led revolutions, gangs and crimes were rampant. A foreign journalist was raped, one of the first foreigners to set foot in China for a long time.

Deng, was having none of it, he wanted a clean image of China, to boost investment, he along with a provincial governor came up with the plan of making an example of these guys.

Rape, murder, and any executable offence was massively speed up, you do any of these things we will kill you and fast.

Soon crime is as it is today in China, manageable. No mercy. For the greater good, there are innocent people executed, due to human error, but today China is much safer than any other third world.
