China discovers giant oil field with 7 billion barrels | PetroChina

I personally think Xinjiang should be divided into two halves. The northern half anyways has little to do with the southern.
Why don't you claim India should be split into two halves?

One half for Hindus and another half for Muslims.

Why are you only opining about China's Xinjiang province, which is not Indian territory?

Why not stick to your own country and advocate splitting India into two pieces?

Umm india is routinely split off into new states. Every few years a new state is formed for administrative reasons.

I am saying the same for Xinjiang because the northern half doesn't need to be an autonomous province. Only the southern. And Xinjiang is too large.

Indians routinely Talk and advocate about statehood

That's not what I said.

I asked why don't you make posts about your own country (India) and advocate splitting India into two states. One Hindu and one Muslim.

I didn't ask you to give me a list of excuses on why you are NOT posting comments about splitting India into two halves.

Xinjiang is Chinese territory and none of your business.

Why are you poking your nose into Chinese sovereignty and not advocating splitting India into two halves on the forums? I'm saying you're a hypocrite.

No I am saying that. I want Uttar Pradesh to be split into 4 states. To make it more governable.

Also, india as a country has already split into a Hindu and Muslim part.

The Muslim part is called Pakistan and Bangladesh.

Also I advocated Xinjiang to be split into two provinces. Not separate country.

In india a province is called a state. So maybe I used that word.

.
China has 3rd largest proven oil reserves, roughly half of KSA, however mining cost is high relative to Middle East.
3rd or 13th? I just checked wiki, which says China's reserve is at 13th and is only 1/10th of KSA's.

Need to be further broken up until in any country the dominant majority is one single nationality.

http://www.sohu.com/a/68530567_356556, not sure whether it's credible, I didn't spend too much time to verify, it could be wrong. However, by land area of China, I believe there's more oil reserves to be found, e.g. in desert of Xinjiang
That page is clearly wrong. Check out the comments. :)

This is copied from world atlas. With additional 7 billion barrels from this finding, China could jump to 12th.

True, I shouldn't trust sohu. :smokin: However I bet China will find one of the largest oil/gas reserves in Tarim Basin.

Definitely. Considering the country size, it is a bit strange that its oil reserve ranks this low.
