Bachu county was the worst hit region in whole Xinjiang by terrorism a decade agao, hundreds if not thousands died from multiple repeated terrorist attacks in this highly ethnic minorities dominated region.

Fast forward to today 2022, it's all peace, tranquil, development and prosperity, terrorism had long become a thing of distant past, fading in the locals' memories.
