BEIJING (Reuters) - China will impose additional tariffs of 25 percent on 106 U.S. goods including soybeans, autos, chemicals, some types of aircraft and corn products, among other agricultural goods, the finance ministry said on Wednesday.

The products targeted by the tariffs were worth $50 billion in 2017, according to a separate statement from the commerce ministry.

Extra tariffs will also be slapped on products such as whisky, cigars and tobacco, some types of beef, lubricants, and propane and other plastic products, the finance ministry said in its statement.

U.S. orange juice, certain sorghum products, cotton, some types of wheat, as well as trucks, some SUVs, certain electric vehicles, will also be subject to the new duties, the finance ministry said.

I don't feel too much pressure on China, China has the largest domestic market in terms of all tradable goods. from cars, phones, computers to machinery.
China also has all kinds of ways to fight with Trump regime.

But for india, such trade war is gonna wipe out the beginning efforts on industrialisation.

Not really. Our exports are not the same as Chinas. The US is targetting China specifically with which it has the largest trade deficit.

What do you export?
Agricultural products?
Like what US is exporting to China?

What US is doing does more harm to those who are still struggling in entering the industrial world.
People have to think about the long-term effects, not confined in the short-term retaliation.

Still, you didn't explain how this will become reverse industrialization in India.

The US is specifically targetting Chinese exports. Whatever India exports is not the issue here. And as I said already our exports will not be affected by a trade war. It's only your dream.

We are not exporting too much to US... specially manufactured goods...

By the way we also have a huge domestic market... these are just tarrif... we have seen economic growth even after US sanctions...

But I really believe that we in Asia should learn from Europe and find ways for economic growth and development of our nations... peace is a big boon...

Is this the idea of your Indians?
Can you Indians have a little backbone?

Do you think India is going to be spared?
