@Dubious one question i check by three sites Chinese firewall all confirm https://defence.pk/pdf/ is blocked in mainland china what does it means?do they consider PDF an threat ?check yourself too

I am aware it is blocked...But I dont know and I think it would be only a concern for the admin

CN govt dont want Cnese have a different thinking. CN is just like N.Korea and fat Xi is just like fat Kim, if u have any different idea wt Xi, then u will be put in jail, the website will be removed or blocked.

Thats why no FB and Google in CN while VN only restrict FB. GG

Exactly my point as if they using vpn to access PDF in official capacity that's ok but if they are doing it privately its problem as China as an state our friend and on PDF encouraging such activities sounds not good admin should design some rules

It's matter of freedom of speech and Chinese state policy issue. Don't think forum fabric should be disturb. Because ..... we have topics and issues which seems not allowed to discuss in mainland. My two centz/.

Sure checking Pakistan cyber crime law regarding our friendly countries just few days ago DG ISPR also warn about it and passed under new cyber crime law chapter 4 there is certain responsibilities too regarding friendly foreign countries.Its better to ask some Pakistani or Chinese authority for clarification as if China blocks its the right of Chinese govt we have to comply with it and cant encourage people who using vpn without their govt permission

Agree. Taking Chinese state policy into consideration would only make confusing forum policy. In addition, China firewall blocking PDF doesn't mean it considers PDF as a threat. PDF is blocked is because,
1. it thinks Chinese are too gullible to hear anything from anywhere other than Chinese government. It acts like a benevolent father protecting his teenage daughters.
2. Chinese government employs many silly lies to prevent Chinese from being agitated and starting to question its legitimacy. So it is more like a step father trying to convince his step daughters that he is their real father.

The sad part is that #2 is actually the reason for being gullible (#1).

I hope that is the case less trouble for PDF too but problem is last few months huge fights going on in Chinese section regarding many issues and its not gonna look pretty if they complain officially to Pakistan regarding this i m seeing things from my Pakistani side its better to be safe than sorry to avoid any complications later

China has a different system where discipline and complete adherence to the official narrative is considered mandatory and a sign of a good citizen while on PDF we discuss all sorts of things and new ideas ...some are pro and others are against it. This kind of disagreement is not allowed there. They strive for homogeneity while in democracy there's diversity so this conflicts with their policy and resulted in a ban in China. But PDF as a forum is not anti-China but at the same time it allows for discussion and freedom of speech.

I seriously doubt such huge fights would lead some Chinese members to lodge an official complain to Pakistan. They would be laughed at for being naive, immature and silly.

Could because of Xinjiang, Pakistan's position in Xinjiang is ambiguous,discussion of this issue can cause great distrust between the Chinese and Pakistanis, maybe that's what China doesn't want to see.
