China and India which country is more democratic: the richer the country is the more democratic it

.
All I know from another thread is India cities are a lot more polluted than Chinese cities with 15% of Chinese development

.
No need to argue this, just one fact:

the richer the country is, the more democratic it will be.

The poorer the country is, the more dictatorship it will be.

This is natural process.

Look at those African "democratic " countries, do you think they are truly democratic? No, they are actually more dictatorship, they can't even feed their people with tens of millions of people are starving each year, do you think they are democracy?

just several examples in East Asia after cold war:

1. Singapore

2. South Korea

3. Taiwan

South Korea and Taiwan were not democratic until very late. South Korea became democracy country until late 1980s

Taiwan became so called democratic until 1990s, before that Taiwan is family dictatorship just same as today's North Korea. The Chiang kai-shek family ruled Taiwan for over 40 years with dictatorship system.

But both South korea and Taiwan became richer and developed their economic miracle under so called "dictatorship" system. Then they switch to democratic.

So it's just that simple, if a country gets developed, it will become more democratic, it's a natural process, because all people are richer and they will ask more

If a country is struggling in poverty, and food, many people are starving everyday, although these countries call themselves democratic, they actually are dictatorship and slavery oriented.

.
India is not the richest country in the this map.

Think you chose the wrong word. China isn't more democratic, it's not democratic at all, well a little bit.

What you should say is more progressive, and more developed, with more options.

Example, Gay Rights, Women's rights(domestic violence laws and such).

More developed in more ways to travel, better paying jobs, better health care services, better regulations(because we can afford it).

More chances to travel, more chances to work, a better education system overall, and etc.

Democracy is a very specific system, without one adult one vote, a country can't be that far up the democratic chain. Just because I have a very nice German car, doesn't make it a Lexus.

One is not worst than the other, it's different and depends on the model.

You are correct. The correct word should be China is more progressive and liberal and its citizens have individual liberties. For instance, an average Chinese citizen enjoys more freedom when it comes to matters like choosing his/her own partner, wearing whatever he/she likes etc. whereas in India such liberties are sometimes violated regardless of how democratic it is. However you can't say that wealth brings liberties. If it is so then GCC countries should be more liberal than they already are. A nation could be democratic and at the same time violate individual rights of its citizens and wealthy nations could be undemocratic and violate individual rights and poorer nations could offer better conditions regarding individual liberties. Some people believe in the false perception that democracy brings the ultimate source of freedom.

Democracy is not equal to vote, and your example give me more confident.
Gay rights : Chinese are enlightened, so Gay people don't need to protest for their right, so you won't see gin western media.Actually we call our friends gay-friend(基友, the first word means gay, second word means friend)in daily life.
Woman right:Chairman Mao said a famous saying:“women hold up half the sky ” decades ago,in my experience girls are more popular than boys since school(and my mom always jokes daughter is better than me,and Ireturn a compliment I want a sister), man called themselves Dick-fur(屌丝)to self mock who have no girlfriend. And husbands always say they are under the cat's paw.
Chance to travel depends on your money in China, and Chance to work depends on your ability.First 12 year education is free, and you must test for highschool and university and so on, and PISA test show how Chinese are democracy,Google it
I have a very nice German car, doesn't make it a Lexus. And democracy not means vote too.In Chinese democracy is 民主,first word 民 means people, and second word 主 means dominate or master

Hah,obviously you don't know what is liberty.
Liberty is a right to do what you want, but nature and society will limit.
For example, you can't fly to the sun, why?Because nature.
So Tech will bring us more liberty.ancient time people can't fly and nowadays you just need pay for a ticket.that's means be more rich ,be more Freedom.
And like traffic rules, society use many rules to restrict people which make the society machine run more efficiently, laws and morality is a game between you and others, step forwards or backwards are dynamicly. that's means greater social progress , more Freedom you will have.
overall, a progressive and wealth society are liberty

What are you talking about? When I mentioned liberty, I had women's rights, right to dress, right to marry, freedom of religion etc. in mind.

. .
Are those things not for granted?
Sorry body, those things are so natural in China like breathing and l forgot to mention
I didn't say they are all present in the most perfect way. I just said relatively China is better when it comes to individual liberties.
