Are there any strong chess players on PDF?

My classical rating on LiChess is currently 1917. I just finished playing someone ranked 1947 and beat him. I've also beaten two players ranked over 2000.

I never played chess but i intend to investigate it. How do you guys figure out the initial moves ? It looks like one can move about any piece initially without making any difference. Or is it that you guys are laying a trap for your opponent from first move ?

You certainly can't move every piece at start because some are blocked by others pieces. But every piece even initial moves have strategy behind it.
