The Chechen militant blamed for deadly attacks in Moscow has threatened Turkey with retaliation after the killings of a number of Caucasus militants on Turkish soil.

Doku Umarov, who has survived numerous attempts on his life by Russia, said the militants were killed by Russian agents whose activities had been deliberately tolerated by the Turkish secret services.

In September, three Caucasus men were shot outside a mosque in Istanbul. Russian investigators later said two of them were Chechens and suspects in the deadly bombing of a Moscow airport this year.

"If you do not take measures then with the help of Allah we will take the necessary measures, there can be no doubt of that!" said Umarov, addressing the Turkish people and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

"If we take measures in response, then Russia will never plan a murder of even one more person from the Caucasus on your soil," he added in the video posted late Sunday on the Kavkaz Center website which serves as a mouthpiece of the Caucasus militants.

Umarov, dressed in camouflage clothing and sitting next to a fellow militant, indicated in the video that Russian secret agents had entered Turkey disguised as tourists or with the help of Turkish construction companies.

He said their weapons were delivered into the country in Russian diplomatic bags.

Umarov, who leads the Caucasus Emirate group that wants to set up a breakaway Islamic state in the Russian Caucasus, claimed responsibility for the Moscow airport bombing that killed 37 people in January and a 2010 twin suicide bombing that killed 40 on the Moscow metro.

What do you expect from the government? To wear military outfits and protect the police and military? If you have no idea about defence and politics, don't come with ridiculous comments. Since this government took office, Turkey has begun a number of development of military defence high tech products (Tanks, helicopters, indigenious rifles, fighter aircraft and many more). Turkey tried to deal with these terrorists diplomatically for the greater good of the people. We gave our Kurdish citizens countless of rights. And it has succeeded in many aspects. We tried to tell our Kurdish population that this country is theirs too, so they could not be decevied by the PKK snakes.

In the end, when diplomacy fails, you must consider other actions. And that is what Turkey currently engages in. Don't come here and tell me that our current government is solely responsible for the escalation of PKK attacks. The responsibility lies with the idiots who climb the mountains and murder our people. The governments job is to strategically solve this issue, which has been a headache for far too long. You cant solve this problem overnight. It requires a lot much more effort. The reason why these dogs have escalated their attacks, is because they know that with the current development among the Kurdish population the support to PKK drops dramatically. So by attacking and being attacked by the military they try to justify their cause.

I dont even read all your worthless BS! Just one thing, if he is ruling the country he can atleast esspecially (after those last attacks when 24 soldiers were killed and 18 wounded ) give the order to hunt down and kill their leading figures or atleast effectively try to asasinate them. But i dont know politics right??!! ofcourse we're all sheeps and dont know anything!! you know everything!! Wonderfully said, there can not be a simple solution for a complex problem like terror outfit.
But I should say Russians are far better in undertaking covert actions against these anti social elements.
The Israelis are even much better when compared to Russians.
The US just wastes much of the international economy by going into war for the right reason when they have better option like sneek and kill.

But unfortunately this is their coward honourless way to deal with the problem.. You dont have to be a super intelligent professor to know whats going on!! The other party comes in armed with weapons and demanding all kinds of things, also killing our police, soldiers civilians. So how can you negotiate with someone already took up arms and declared war on you? What will you talk with them? give them lands??? Well why not share your wifes with them?? Complete the job totally give them your daughters and your wifes and make peace!
