Huawei finance chief arrested in Canada, faces extradition to US over Iran sanctions – report
"...The Wall Street Journal
reported back in April, that the US authorities have been probing the Chinese telecommunication giant since at least 2016 for allegedly circumventing Iranian sanctions and
supplying US-origin products to the Islamic Republic..."
So much for people's idea of Huawei being different than ZTE by having their own tech.
Huawei obviously is still reliant on US stuff.
This is the first big arrest for Interpol's South Korean Kim Jong Yang after the previous Chinese guy disappeared.
