I dont mean you have to be scared of us,but Indian friends say that you Vietnamese and Indian subs are way better than China's and China's sub can not even compare with yours.does he have anything to back up his claim?is that claim be battle tested?

An unexpected visit by a Chinese Submarine that went undetected in the middle of a Pacific Ocean Naval exercise and came extremely close to the U.S.S. Kitty Hawk, has American military chiefs looking for answers.

The sub was apparently able to slip past at least a dozen U.S. warships, two U.S. submarines and a vast array of advanced technology, which failed to detect it.

When the Navy deploys a battle fleet on exercises, they take the security of the aircraft carriers very seriously. At least a dozen warships are used to provide a physical guard, and using advanced technology they are able to detect and deter any potential intruders.

By the time the Chinese sub surfaced, the 160ft Song Class diesel-electric attack submarine sailed within viable range for launching torpedoes or missiles at the U.S.S. Kitty Hawk, a 1,000ft. super carrier with 4,500 military personnel on-board.

According to senior NATO officials, the incident caused a sense of sudden fear in the U.S. Navy, as officials realized the seriousness of the encounter. The U.S. apparently had no idea just how sophisticated China’s fast-growing submarine fleet had become, or that they even posed such a threat.

Analysts believe that China was sending a message to the United States and the West by demonstrating their rapidly growing military capability to threaten foreign powers that might try to interfere in their own “backyard.”

The U.S. Navy and Nato are now forced to re-think their strategy, and reconsider the level of threat posed from potentially hostile Chinese submarines.

China is betrayal partner, Russian know it as well. They never sell to china up to date waffen.

Our navy officers have been studied in Russian from long time. Other than training to be made in India for experiences exchange for operation in deep sea and far from base-port, our personal staff shall be have training at site by Russian when such submarines handing over, it included in purchasing contract are signed. The first 6 submarines is in first step to upgrading Navy of Vietnam. Further steps shall be done based on plan of modernize our navy and its necessaries. Providing waffens to army including Navy is never stop.

The US will never give the real numbers to Vietnam. Even if it did, we have the experience to exploit every single feature of the map, and Vietnam does not. In addition, we know everything about Vietnam's Kilos acoustic signature, while Vietnam knows nothing about our Type 039's.

Sure, the U.S will not give any real figure to Viet Nam; believe in what you can.

As for our subs, Vietnamese's version is much more advanced than the Chinese's Kilo or any sub-Kilo cloned version of yours. Google is your answer to the capabilities of the Vietnamese's Kilo so spare me the usual rherotic that you know our subs, planes, missiles etc. If Russia is going to export anything, it would make sense for them to sell us the more advanced version than yours since we're not a threat to them while you guys sit next door to them; like they sold you the Sunburn while we get the technical assistance to produce the Yakhont; both are anti-ship missiles but the Yakhont is a much more advanced.

Aactualy, Viet Nam knows China pretty well and what China capable of, but China does not knows what Viet Nam is capability. Let put this way:

1./ If Viet Nam did not has well plans, Viet Nam will not spending in a suddent for big lump sum to get 6 Kilo submarine. Plus, to be operatinal you have to have your crews ready to be operate these subs you get. Viet Nam is not rich countrys who was spent tons of money for Kilo submarines just and just put them all in museum. I hope you can agreed with me on this part.

2./ India and Vietnam relationship has been so long, but ever since China puts "String of Pearl" and die trying to block India. However, China U shape claim that's makes us getting closer and getting betters. Viet Nam, India, China are using Russia toys, so China already got problems with Viet Nam- India. So India will help Vietnam to balancing China from South just in case its may getting worst.

3./ Ultimately, India, Viet Nam can be operational weapons made from West and Russia, wich China did not has those weapons like Viet Nam and India. Let me be clear, Viet Nam stockpiled still earned US jets, artillery, Helicopters ....etc whatever US used in Viet Nam war and you can named it. Eventualy, its kinda out date comparing with the modern military hardwars but its still useable and killable

Be honest with you, I have no wonder if you don't know. Even Vietnamese people don't even know about Vietnam already bought submarine from N.Korea until China pushed Viet Nam into a corner which is there no way for Viet Nam to turns then VN gov eposed to the media that VN already has submarine. This part, I peronally thanks China else even now nobody will knows about it.
