Well his real problem is Sidhu. As Sidhu is getting more closer to the leadership of Congress Party and he's gotten much more popular in Punjab(India) due to Kartarpur Corridor. So he has a direct challenger for the position of CM from his own Cabinet. That's the reason he's going full anti Pakistan to counter Sidhu, who has chosen to be pro Pakistan.

It's just all internal politics and power struggle and Indians as usual can't play politics without involving Pakistan in it.
