Beijing has been the capital of PRC since 1949. Rather, I remember reading Zhou Enlai's comment somewhere, that he considered choosing Beijing as one of the strategic miscalculations, because at the declaration of the formation of the People's Republic, Nanjing wasn't totally under control of CPC. But Nanjing came in control soon after.
I always think that the Central China and Southern China have been kinda ignored to some extent.
Wouldn't it be wise to have a system of rotating the capital? Perhaps after 100 years.
Why can't the capital shift to say Wuhan or Changsha in Central China, or Guangzhou in Southern China, after 2049?
It is a well seen trend, that generally the people near the capital are more politically oriented. Why not switch the capital?
