Canada is going on a massive immigration drive

Don't come to Canada... that's my fair and concise comment. The purpose is not to demotivate but more like realistic view on this.

1. you can't get your level of job or desire job that fits you or perhaps you've to wait yearssss to get the right one. Can't say anything about "Luck" but ratio is 99% you won't get the job on TIME and the RIGHT one.
2. Canada is known for its medium pay scale.
3. Taxes are way ********* high.
4. you won't make money the way you make it in the US.
5. You can't buy a home in Canada (the most expensive country when it comes to buying your own house).
6. APR is extremely high for mortgages. Canada became a country where you can't afford your own home (Search it).
7. Cars are ***** expensive for no ***** reason.
8. Eventually, everyone at the end comes to Toronto but it's an expensive place to live. You have to earn at least 80-100 minimum if you've two kids. Else there is no reaon to live in far suburb... Better to stay in your country then.
9. Higher education is expensive compared to European countries whether you're Citizen, on PR, or non-resident.
10. After the Pandemic, everything is *****up. Inflation is soo high, the Government failed to counter it.

It is all about power but with self-conflicting policies. Canada government extends its power all the way to families, which causes low fertility rate. With a government taking care of you, why do you need children anyway? With all the talk about equality, families with high income is put in disadvantage positions if they choose to have children. Now, they want immigrants to offset the low fertility rate caused by their own policy. It is like asking your left leg to jump after shooting your right leg. Good luck with that.

Well almost every Industrial Country has caused this problem one way or another. In case of west it was due to complete abandonment of traditional ways of life and Leftist and feminist ideals pushed by the Governments. Turkey will soon enough fall into the same limbo right now their numbers are being held by the Anatolian Highlands and their higher fertility rates. Japan and South Korea have caused the same problem by adopting western Ideals. China too has caused a disaster for its demographics with one child policy. You guys should have done away with it in the late 90s. Its effects are not evident today but will be in the coming decade. Lets see How CCP will deals with it now.

Japan is already going toward mass migration from East Asian Countries. South Korea would have to go on a similar route as I don't see a unified Korea ever happening.

As far us South Asians are Concerned our fertility rates will reach replacement levels by 2050 and we will go on forward with the existing momentum before we face the same problem if we go below the replacement levels.

The People migrating would be coming from countries where they are barely surviving they will come because Canada cant be worse than their own countries no matter how bad it pays with respect to other first world nations.

I call it the rational extremism. Traditionally, families and lower communities are organized and bounded through emotions such as family ties and religions, while government is organized via rationalism, such as natural rights and laws. The recent development in the west is marked by the over-extension of rationalism all the way to families. That kills families and eventually kills the western civilization. They are committing suicide while enjoying it.

I remember the time when I get a Kellogg offer and migrate to Canada, it's not that hard actually, I mean compare to what I have heard in Australia and US, they don't need you to work 5 or 6 years for a H1B type visa, you get a job and you pass a point test, and you are good to go.

Hyperinflation is crazy.
A grocery store trip is easily now 150-200 bucks and that barely lasts a week if u hav kids. That doesn’t count halal meat……

Rents are crazy high, these days hard to find 2-bed apt under $ 2000……can’t afford if u make min wage jobs. Forget buying cuz its like a million dollars for a small house…..keeping a car is expensive, petrol is around $1.75 per litre……

Right now we can’t even find childrens painkillers medicine, its like out of stock everywhere in Toronto…..goodluck if u need a family doctor or emergency care its taking 10+ hrs to be seen in hospitals

Already china and india, alongwith phillipinos and mexicsns make the highest demographics….Pakistanis are not on the list as I suspect Canada doesn’t give big quotas to Pakistanis.
Let them make it a little china or india…..soon they regret it if they got any brains

Most educated ppl will alwsys move to USA after getting canadian citizenship…..thsts the best way only.

Even if it were, they also have access to statistics around the world, like Indian and asian community being highest earning and educated in the USA, Pakistani community from Britain having outsized representatives in jails and crimes.

This could result in brain drain. Where the most skilled people and those that can teach them to others just get up and leave. There may be remittances in the short term but the potential these people have is greater.
