No, Ottoman caliphate included all these regions, not Turkey. It was under rule of Islam rather than rule of Turkish people. Even during that time, the governance of Arab region was done by Arabs, not Turks but Arabs accepted the alliance with Ottoman as Ottoman was wealthy due to fertile Turkish land while Arabs were extremely poor. But if you go even further back, Turkey, Greece, Syria, Lebanon and parts of east Europe were part of Greek empire.

The vast carpark below the ground has suspended ceiling, i have not seen this kind of luxury even in the 5 star hotels.....even the running costs must be huge.
