any SSM can be MIRV'd. it's just the range of the MIRV that will be effected due to the short range.

.
No Sir our ghaznavi short range ballistic missiles are not MIRVed and any ballistic missiles can be MIRV whether its short range or an ICBM

.
Whats the benefits of short ranged MIRVed missiles. considering the tech complexity and weight increase, this could greatly shorten the range or increase the size/thrust required.

There are multiple alternates like MBLR, LR Artillery, AL/GL/SL Cruise missiles to achieve similar results in short ranges.

. .
In short it becomes like a carrier round. So the answer to your question is yes but not sure how it would benefit

.
Its easy to MIRV a short range missile, fire 5 at the same time

No, it requires too much fuel in reentry vehicles to separate them enough.

In case of nukes, it makes no sense to make mirv with only few km target spread.

Imran Niazi pti became pm with support of invisible powers thy wanted to change fate fortune of Pakistani nation make it riyaste madina for naya new Pakistan but unfortunately nothing happened no promise fulfilled except eating foreign funds creating hype of corona first second third fourth so many layers still coming until Jewish policy fully collapse your collapsing economy already education business sector badly effected so many funds from so many countries no one know where it gone so many pti politicians involved in severe corruption but nab useless department will only act when they are not in government no recovery from previous corrupt political leaders on which imran pti promised 1000 times in dharna time but 0% recovery no improvement in justice system insaf slogan word is useless of pti heavy taxes imposed on poor nation in the form of utility bills daily need items car home medicines clothes onions tomato petrol cooking oils etc etc price change never heard in history cost of living become miserable for common person except imran lavish life style and his ministers including previous corrupt politicians sarkari official beurocrats on the hard earned money of public no infrastructure no roads repaired no new mega projects just playing making fun of already humiliated tortured nation since Musharraf time when every minute every where was suicide blast GOD bless SAVE Pakistan from Evil hands in the form of humans
Dear kindly stick to topic and respond accordingly.

Heres the video about the Fateh-1 MBRL and its future variants and applications.
It is defined in details that why MBLRs are better options in battle ranges as compared to ballistic missiles.

Multiple Independent Re-entry Vehicle.
Short range missile trajectory Doesn’t take it out of the atmosphere for re-entry.

Munition Buses can be added onto ballistic projectiles but factors such as trajectory, the munitions themselves and separation of targets will all come into play.

Ghaznavi reaches outside the atmosphere,
A small back of envelop calculation, Ghaznavi can carry about 3 or 4 Nasr warheads, or at least fit them in its nose cone.

To what end? What would be achieved with it?
What target will be affected and what strategic or tactical calculus will swing in Pakistani favor?
Even if it did, what is the time to impact that will allow those MIRVs to have any meaningful dispersion?

I am talking about technical not practical feasibility.
Dispersion will be limited and it might be more effective to employ them as MRV rather than MIRV.

It depends on to how far targets do you wants to hit with one missile. MIRVs need to be released from much higher altitude to allow them to glide to far away distance to cover bigger geographical area. Agni 2 prime for example is a light weight very powerful composite motor which allows it to go at much higher altitude from where it can deliver 2 MIRVs. Its last test was said to be done with 2 MIRVs.

It will be a waste of time, money and technology which is better invested in Ababeel and Shaheen.

Even the BMD argument makes no sense because:

1) India so far plans to deploy a BMD system in Delhi and Mumbai only and might plan on expanding the project's scope. It is reserved for very high value targets, not for battlefield use (think Fatah-1 vs Shaheen)

2) BMD systems, even America's THAAD, have difficulty intercepting missiles. Shaheen-III is already nearly impossible to intercept because it constantly changes its trajectory. This method is more cost effective than MIRV, and could be installed on Ghaznavi - then again, for such a short range missile, why go through the headache? Might as well fire two missiles.

3) What tiny warheads do you plan to fit on them?

4) If you want to expand the missile's size, payload, thrust etc. to accommodate larger MIRVs, you are making a whole new missile. Why not invest in an SLBM, SLCM, or other project.
