Lol that’s just your opinion, as can be constituted as irrelevant, atleast your current govt has different opinion on the matter. But Pakistan is definitely irrelevant to bd and the only reason bd section exist is the same reason why Afghanistan, Turkish, or Indian section exist on his forum.

Don't mind him, we are Pakistan's 7th largest export partner/destination.
We don't export squat to them, so we are insulated from any diplomatic Adventism from their side, but Islamabad wouldn't want to upper cut its own ailing economy by losing the Bangladeshi market.
Trust me, Islamabad's head is screwed on right.

Bangladesh and pakistan are in two different trajectories. Irrespective of that reality there is no impediment in cooperating where our interest align.
Should we have friendly relationship... sure why shouldnt we. Again this should be restricted to the economic sphere.
BD economy will surpass pakistan in absolute terms soon enough. We have surpassed it on a per person basis.
There is no rivalry here in any sphere. I for one am a well wisher when it comes to pakistan and would encourage more people to people contact between the countries.
At a strategic level I see little potential as the physical distance makes it near impossible. There is however a possibility requiring carefull and sustained cultivation but i do not see either party willing to spend the political capital required for such venture.
We just need to let each other find our own path and maintain cordial relation. Nation of nearly 200m and 165m can stand on their own feet.

Well we cant be friends but we should have relation like Japan and china both hate each other but they have trade nearly worth 300 billion USD.
In my view i do agree it was us that had let our nation be broken like should have taken better decisions like developing both wings and not treating Bangladeshis like inferior people but I also blame Bangladeshis for becoming an opportunity for India to attack us and joined hands with non Muslims to fight a Muslim country. Then you praise mukhtibani which are literary borderline Indian funded insurgents then you blame the crimes committed by India and mukhtibani on us. Frankly many of us do understand your pains like the issue of aid in the cyclones etc but in the end you are traitors that's what many of us think. we were in the wrong but you overdid it.
Then you view us as some sort of genocidal Nazi type regime that wants to strip you of your culture and stuff. I know that is not the view of everyone I am myself am a pan Islamist and I embrace my Bangladeshi Muslim brothers and sisters. Like whenever we talk to you guys you blabber about Pakistani army raping women and insult our country then you are proud of 1971 war. TLDR due to Bangladeshis being fed with Indian propaganda against Pakistan they hate us. If we were near each other we would have had another war. Pakistan was founded as a place of all Muslims while Bangladesh was born out of political and economic issues. Also you guys are also strong allies of India. I frankly don't like any Muslim nation built on ethnicity/ Nationalistic lines and Upholding such lines.

It is bangladesh that has to sit down with sincerity not Pakistan. Our last few govt have bent over backwards far to much now.
Either we move on with fantasies of a ummah or BD sits down. Its takes 2 to tango, if PK compromises then so shall the other side.
I prefer Pakistan pursueing its own interest as we have the potential to become the leading power in south asia within the next decade or 2. Even Indian analyst agree.
The Key is IK must be given another 2 terms until 2035 minimum. The gains this govt has made in the last few years have been immense:
- Strategic agreement/integration with PLA now fully entrentched. PA generals/majors/ssg are now stationed in China along the LAC
- 100k PLA troops along LAC
- 2019 humilitation of India to the whole world
- 2021 Taliban takeover of Afghanistan. AFG is now pretty much PK 5th province
- Great relations with Nepal/Sri lanka both govt wise and people wise
- People relations with BD is much better than it was 5 years ago
- Huge priority is being given to the Navy & airforce. PK is soon going to be producing AESA equiped fighters and SSN submarines. First in the muslim world.
If so much was achieved in just 3 years image another 12! The end goal should be the reunification of Punjab+ Kashmir with Pakistan, Reunication of Laddakh/Eastern indian territories with China. And a pro-Pakistani govt in Dhaka. What left of India should be a neutered state similar to Germany after WW2 where reperations much be paid, bases provided to Pakistani/Chinese forces and a govt that is not allowed to have an offensive military.
We do not need to occupy delhi nor dhaka. It would be far to many problems/people to take care of. Victory for us should be defined as the above ie Pakistani hegemony in south/central asia without occupation of foreign lands.
