What this thread will be about is if Jordan can actually offer anything to Pakistan via the main defense company in Jordan KADDB. KADDB offers a variety of systems from land equipment, to troop equipment and most things in between. For example Jordan offers the Al-Mared 8x8 which can have versions like APC, and IFV which I see Pakstan lacks.
Al-Mared
Al-Mared is an 8x8 armored vehicle designed and developed to meet the latest defense and security requirements relied on this entry level. This armored vehicle offers a high level of protection according to STANAG 4569 KE L3 upgradeable to STANAG L4 and can be used for troops transport of up to 10 crewmen and equipment or combat as it is armed with a 30mm Turret and equipped with surveillance, monitoring and communications systems. Variants include APC, and IFV armed with a 30mm cannon. It is based on the Tatra chassis.

Al-Wahsh 105
There is a version called the Al-Wahsh 105mm which is a howitzer gun integrated on Al - Wahsh 4x4 wheeled vehicle, it was designed to suit artillery requirements (shoot and scoot) since it needs minimal efforts to reduce the readiness time. This could be useful for Pakistan since they have no self propelled 105mm artillery. This vehicle uses the M102 but I think the M101 could maybe be integrated and Pakistan operates many of these M101s.

MAP II
MAP II is a heavy tracked vehicle platform, converted by KADDB based on the platform of Centurion MBT new hull is designed of built with addition of two main crew doors in the front and back of the vehicle. It fulfills multi-purpose roles in the support of mechanized armored units based on their needs. It may be used as a personnel carrier, ammunition carrier, ambulance and command of control vehicle. MAP II provides full protection against medium caliber KE ammunition such as 25mm autocannon for the 13 crew members on board. It can be equipped with a Browning M2 .50 cal, a 7.62 machine gun, and 3 RPG-32 launchers. This could maybe work with Pakistan's Type 59 if they were retired. The armor protection would be the same.

RPG-32
The weapon has the ability to defeat modern heavy-armored tanks and soft-skinned vehicles as well as fortifications and bunkers. On 30th May 013, His Majesty King Abdullah II inaugurated the production facility of RPG-32 “Nash-Shab”. This could help Pakistan by supplementing the RPG-7 maybe.

RPG-32 “Nash-Shab” system consists of the following
  1. 6G40 – Launcher.
  2. PG-32V - Anti Tank Tandem Grenade.
  3. TBG-32V - Thermobaric Grenade.
  4. 1P81 - Standard optical day sight.
  5. GS-2R - Day Sight with Laser Range Finder.
  6. NV/A-1 – Night Vision Sight.
  7. JR-SIM-32 – Training Simulator.
  8. PUI-32 –Training Equipment (Sub-caliber Training round IRG-32V and Launching Tube UPI-32).
RPG-32 “Nash-Shab” Features

Cell Phone and JPS jammer
The GPS jamming device broadcasts a noisy RF signal in the frequency range reserved for GPS receivers that interferes with the GPS received signal, which results losing the received GPS Information.

GPS jamming device blocks all satellite by transmitting a high power signal at the same frequencies of the GPS.

A GPS jammer prevents a tracking device in the vehicle from determining its location and speed, Law enforcement and military can deploy GPS frequency jamming.

The Falcon Turret could have been good for Pakistani tanks if it had gone through which sadly it has not. It was ahead of its time being unmanned and was much better than the 120mm on the Challenger 1.

Pakistan has huge number of M113 and some other variants of it but its all based on M113.
Yeah its not so good because of how little armored the M113 is compared to other modern IFVs. Would the tank conversions for the Type 59s be good? Would help with an armor push because the tank armor has much better armor than any APC Pakistan has.

Light Weight Turret
The project aims to design & build a light weight compact turret system with medium caliber cannon as a main weapon to be adaptive for installation on medium wheeled & tracked vehicles currently available in service with JAF or being developed in KADDB for future.
Primary armament MK 44 30 / 40 Bushmaster cannon
Secondary armament M240 MG.
Counter Measure Smoke grenade launcher.
Sensor Suite Thermal, day camera, laser range finder, laser pointer
Turret Control system Electric traverse & elevation drive system.
Basket Unmanned Turret
Protection level Skin armour satisfies STANAG I protection level.
Turret.jpg

This a converted Centurion a almost 70 year old tank armed with 3 ZT3 Ingwes and what I thik is a bushmaster behind the cupola with a sight. This can take 25 mm bushmaster rounds which is much more than what a m113 can take at only 50 cal machine gun.

Salaam

I did not know the Jordanians were producing so much stuff. I think it would be great if Muslim countries could work together on defence production and R&D etc of related industries.

...
Yes I do too but with China offering the cheapest products governments flock to the cheapest thing they can get regardless of quality.

Arab Ready Meals which are Halal
ARM MREs were designed to succeed out-dated C-Rations (Canned Rations), and utilise state-of-the-art food preparation and storage technology, including sophisticated sterilization techniques.
The technology allows various advantages over C-Rations. Unlike C-Rations, ARM MREs undergo a relatively cool thermal process due to better heat penetration, which arises from a thinner profile. This hugely decreases the possibility of overcooking, and preserves the flavour, texture and condition of the meal. All meals are free of artificial preservatives and monosodium glutamate (MSG).

ADVANTAGES
• MREs formats are easier to handle, and are soft
• MREs are lighter and less bulky than C-Rations, allowing more efficient stockpiling and easier transportation
• MRE containers do not rust nor dent, unlike C-Ration containers
• A thinner profile enables the MRE to be heated faster, and easy-tear packaging allows packets to be opened quickly by hand

DESCRIPTION AND DIMENSIONS
• Individual dishes packed in 4ply, reinforced, nylon-laminated pouches
• Durable, able to withstand ration deployment by airdrop
• Requires no cooking, only reheating
• Pouches weigh from 140 g to 1 kg
• Sizes range from 13 cm x 16 cm to 20 cm x 30 cm

ARM MRE KEY CONSIDERATIONS
• Producing a variety of nutritional packs for military, commercial and other segments, such as humanitarian causes
• Wide range of products to meet nutritional requirements
• Diverse base locations distribute workload; geographical spread improves delivery times and aids against interruption of production
• Shelf-life and packaging integrity
• Flexibility to encourage savings and aid-contingency planning

OFFERED VARIATIONS
• Single Meal Pack Ration: a complete meal consisting of a main meal, dessert, beverage and miscellaneous ancillary
• 24hour Individual Ration Packs: meant to satisfy for 24hours, consisting of two meals, one breakfast item and miscellaneous ancillary
• Ancillary: sugar, coffee, tea, cleaning tissues, scouring pad, waterproof matches, biscuits (customisable with optional equipment)

RPG Hashim would be great
Yeah it would and a factory could be set up in Pakistan. Jordan is manufacturing 60000 units a year and these things can destroy Indian tanks from the sides and maybe even a lucky shot could destroy a T-72s frontal armor.

20mm mortar directing system
20MM MORTAR FIRE DIRECTING SYSTEM PROJECT (MFDS) is an effective system for controlling the artillery fire targets, fire adjustment, sending data, and ballistic calculations; it meets the needs of the artillery corps through improvement the target acquisition, and ballistic calculations. MFDS save time and efforts, secure and fast data sending, it meets almost all the needs of land warfare by applying the concepts of artillery training through imposing all kinds of firing condition.

MFDS consist of two units (2 laptops):
A) The Position Unit: serves as the “brain” of the system. It receives the command fire from the Observer by radio as a data and do the following:

  • Setup working unit data.
  • Determine firing data from initial data and the adjustments.
  • Determine the amount and type of ammunition to used, number of guns to be fired, number of rounds in fire of effect, priority, whether surprise fire is possible.
  • Checking the location relative to allied forces, fire support coordinating measures, and zones of responsibility.
  • Registering the Target data after end of fire.

B) The observer Unit: It sends the fire request from the Observer to the commander by radio as a data and does the following:

  • Enter observer location.
  • Determine the observer grids using (GPS) system.
  • Locate targets.
  • Enter target lists.
  • Enter known points list.
  • Enter safety zones list.
  • Implement some survey.
  • Sending and receiving messages.

The above two units will be connected with wireless radio system (VHF military radio system).

MFDS system is based on the artillery mathematical calculations and observation methods, so all the results are accurate and reliable in conjunction with ballistics of artillery fundamentals.

Menus are completely user friendly and with Arabic interface.

RPG 32 looks promising and contain enough destruction which can rival CG B4
Agreed and you can mount it on most vehicles including Humvees, Technicals etc.

There's a tremendous amount of options in weaponry and geopolitical plays available to us. But we don't have the money for it.

Pay your bloody taxes and we can have these toys!
Or stop paying Russia 150 million for four helicopters maybe?

. .
If Jorden have one dozen F16s to sell. We can upgrade in Turkey and we can use it as stop gap measure. New squardon in No time. F16s :smitten:

I think Pakistan govt. need to focus more to minimize waste, which is a result of electing inept people to the parliament.
One govt. take one step forward, than second govt. take two step back. that's how it function in Pakistani democracy. In the end we are worst than before.
Lahore was much cleaner in 80's when tax collection was fraction of what we pay to Imran Khan.
