I have just one question - are all general staffs in the Indian Army mimic this media general with a "well-groomed" mustache????? By the by, since the general is a regular face can he have a little "tooth work" done??? I am pretty sure it'd elevate his ranking even further!!!!!
India has only one solution and Gen. Bakshi alluded to it. India needs to grow balls that are commensurate with it's size. The problem India has is simple. It was a whimp, it is a whimp and will continue being a whimp.
As the good General mentioned look at what US did, look what what Pak did, look at what Russia is doing. And yes today India's options are rather limited as the host mentioned but I would like to ask him what was India doing in 1940s, 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, 1980s before the nuclear deterant licked in? India had the size, India had the resources advantage against a tiny country. It should have knocked Pakistan out during all those decades. Pakistan would not have even been able to get up let alone cause trouble.
Any other country (not a big puffed up cow) would have conquered by force Pakistan administered Kashmir and then destroyed Pakistan Army. It would have then made sure Pakistan unravels as a functioning state - this would have left Pakistan to focus on standing up again or surviving let alone causing trouble to India.
But then Ganga would need to grow a set - which she does not have.
* For 70 years India has failed to tame Pakistan. Today it can do sweet all.So learn to take it.
So typical of taking credits of other achievements. In 1971 India did perform a surgical breakup of Pakistan
So typical of taking credits of other achievements.
If anything, the breaking of East pakistan was totally credited to Ill policies of west Pakistan against East pakistan, nothing to do with any country be it Ganga or not. The people from Ganga only took the opportunity when it was very obvious. The played a well calculated risk game. As Bakshi rightly puts it ''The bharat Mata needs balls of steels to do it.''
Which we all are aware that it doesnt have any, in past 70 years alone without Nukes Pakistan survived and stood well against a neighbour 6 times it size
Theres a difference between a fight of two tigers in which one got badly injured then a hyenas hone in for a kill.If India allowed Mukti Bahini and Pakistani army to duke it out Bangladesh might have still happened. It would have been long drawn bloody affair.
The Indian army put an end to the whole business in 2 weeks.
There is a difference between lion killing a impala deer and a bunch of wild dogs killing a impala deer
Only after the civil war occurred than to pakistan ill policies nothing to do with hyenas waiting for opportune moment. SO the entire credit goes ?The Indian army put an end to the whole business in 2 weeks

Something that even An NRI cant understand even after living out of Ganga land. Shameful, always taking credits for other acts.

Hint; not to the River of ganga but more to river of indus
Are you seriously taking the credit for fall of bangladesh and actually Acquitting ZAB from not giving mujib his due political right ?The Mukti Bahini had nothing to show for after 8 months of fighting.
Indian army routed the Pakistani forces in 2 weeks
hyenas is not a joke. Lions fear them for a good reason
spare me this indus/ganga babble. 50% of Indians are nowhere near the Ganges
Cut off from mainland ans supplies that is not at all a feat. When faced with mainland in last 3 wars, India was still not able to obliterate pakistan, now with nukes at hand its just LOLndian army routed the Pakistani forces in 2 weeks
