KAULA LUMPUR – Prime Minister Imran Khan, who is also the World Cup-winning cricketer, has found another fan during the two-day long visit to Malaysia.

The ‘fan girl’ was no one else but the first lady of Malaysia, Siti Hasmah Mohamad Ali, who was excited to hold the hand of Pakistani premier during an official photo shoot.


A video clip of the cutest moment, which has drawn sentiments of appreciation from both countries on social media, shows the wife of Malaysian PM Dr. Mahathir Mohamad turned to Khan and asked him in an outwardly shy way: “Excuse me, Can I hold your hand?”

The Pakistani premier replying gently said, “Yes Sure”.

When the first lady holds the hand, she can be seen giggling like a young lady, who swoons over finding the ideal in front of her.

All in presence including the Malaysian premier were all grinning over the action of the lady.

Pakistani social media users termed it the cutest moment on the internet.

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday evening left for Pakistan after wrapping up his two-day official visit to Malaysia.

Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad personally bid farewell to the Pakistani premier, who boarded a special aircraft at Bunga Raya Complex of KLIA. The plane took off at 9pm.

Imran Khan made his maiden visit to Malaysia at the invitation of Dr Mahathir since assuming office in August.
