Cameron Munter hints at US sanctions on Pak if military intervenes

WASHINGTON: Former US Ambassador to Pakistan Cameron Munter has hinted at US sanctions on Pakistan in case of military intervention, Geo News reported.
The former envoy said US wanted to see continuation of democratic system in Pakistan, adding that any deviation from democratic process would not be supported.
Cameron said there was very little chance of military intervention in Pakistan, however, US could impose sanctions if it happened.

We're a weak nation. Look at Turkey, china and other nations doing business with Iran and we're scared of sanctions. We can't even counter sanction, like Russia.

So accept reality and continue democracy. It's in best interest of Pakistan and the world.

Because you're a pti follower who thinks Pakistan is all mighty and fully independent country that can turn around in an instant, just because mr khan says it.

The picture I have is not derogatory, as Imran has mentioned he will not accept aid, yet his gov't fully takes it. It is the truth. Now talk about the pictures about nawaz or zardari with female body. And what about Imran and Qadri using awful remarks about others? Are such words used by Nawaz or Zardari? Not to mention tens of accusation without proof.

In Canada, we learned how not to become sheeps. We learn to be independent here. We learn to follow rules, constitution and democracy.

Internet is not the place to judge someone, what their background is and whatnot.

I forgot to add, the reason I emphazied on kpk (which you underlined) was because that person whom I quoted loves PTI to death and hates PMLn and other parties to death. Would it make sense if I add Punjab (pmln doesn't mind usaid/loans), knowingly he loves the talk against PMLn?
