You are forgetting India, they will not favor these ties & they will lobby against Pakistan like they always do. A lot needs to be done to gain Russian trust then there is a chance.

They also have problem with China. Now tell me who is more close to Russia?? India or China??

Its all about interest. If Russia want ties with us, India cannot do anything, Unless we make our self trust worthy.

Yes if Russia wants good ties with Pakistan then India can't do anything here but then again we need to see major progress (like purchases, construction, training & etc.) to see that Pak Russia ties are truly on the move & its not just talk.

What is this to gain trust? were russians right when they invaded afghanistan we [more than 1 nation] simply played our roles to save afghanistan and trouble in Pakistan and that what russians did to us in 1971. This is not about trust this is all about business.

I am of a opinion we should stay away, in any conflict/war with hindustan russians are going to give us a good lesson don't ever be dependent on them.

Better to bring in Qatari investment for Pakistan Waters which has huge resources of Oil, Gas and Coal. Turkeministan Gas can be used to supply to China and India.

Why not Refined Oil from Saudi Arabia and Gas from Qatar through Pipelines under sea coming from Oman to Gwadar for Pakistan, another for India and other for China.
