New legislation could be obstructed due to obvious reasons but the local bodies system already enjoys the constitutional cover enacted by musharaf regime. Pti govt just has to implement it.

Bureaucracy doesn't have as much power as people think they have.
If IK delivers even on some of his promises, like Police reforms and health and education. People will become his support and no bureaucracy can fight that. They'll have to comply eventually.

A law needs to be passed (which requires simple majority) from the parliament. Anyone, who creates hurdles or doesn't comply with the orders is sacked with immediate effect. The law should direct the courts to hear and finalize the case within 6 months.. No end of service/ pension to be given to these crooks..

When this law will be passed, no one will dare to put obstacles in government's functioning..

I partially agree with that. Moreover musharaf did marginalize their say in govt affairs by introducing executive district officers for every city department answerable directly to the mayor. The deliverance and service standards became pretty fair due to the appointment of departmental staff as edos - - - - - - .

Wrong my friend in the olden days and still now to some extent the drafting of any bill rests with the bureaucracy .

Prima facie they are representing a state instiution to get policy guide line and a frame work to get things done but in essence they are accumulating power for their own service group to further suppress and sully other service groups.

They trap the politicians into believing that such and such bill would increase their power like never before but in reality it's these babus who calls the shots in the name of executing plans - - - - - - - - - -. That's too much authority for one govt servant. Doesn't matter if he controls a city or a national organisation. We need to curb and downgrade the extent of this outrageous power .

I dont think its the case. Some people want IK to be bz fighting, that actually is not there. Imran ko truck ki batti k pechy lagany irada hai kch logon ka. So Imran, dont get fooled, and keep doing whatever you are.
