A British Military Base in County Antrim came under fire by gunmen leaving two dead.
Four other people, including two pizza delivery men, were also injured when gunmen struck at Massereene army base in County Antrim on Saturday night.
The prime minister described the attack as "evil" and said "no murderer" would derail the peace process.
The attack is thought to be the kind of its own since 1997 when a British soldier was killed by IRA.
