lol the thing about it is the west is organized and all allied strongly together while global south constantly gets into petty bickering or dick measuring contests and even conflicts. That's why just 700 million of them (less than half the population of China or India) pretty much balances out and out-owns the share of world than the 7+ BILLION of the rest of us. Okay fine they also robbed us blind for centuries but gotta let that go and focus on work ahead.

Meanwhile Europeans and white Americans consider themselves one identity, Western. More or less... I mean you'll find tankies, communists, trots, and others but I'm not counting them.

BRICS is a show for now. But nowhere in modern economic history has the rest of the underlings sat at a table together without the chaperones in position and whispering in everyone's ears... not to say their agents and spies aren't doing that to key figures within all BRICS nations but that's always going to be the case and happens both ways. Let's just be happy for now that India managed to do a technically difficult space project (proving it has highly intelligent people in at least ISRO... obv other places too but you get my point) and that BRICS has included more countries and some heavy hitter countries with energy POWER.

Why the group want to add Taiwan, it's not a country but a small province of China. Only Indian fools logic think that way.

Just another Hindutva extremist comment from that "country" called India - they are constantly jealous of China and its success on the world stage.

They should worry about keeping their own "country" together (worry less about Taiwan) - and the latest attempt to keep India unified is to use the bugaboo of religious bigotry to hold Hindus together as a majority voting platform.

But it will only work so long - before Indian people get clued in and see the Hindutva BS, cheatery, bigotry and fraud for what it is - a mostly Northern Indian phenomenon hatched in the impoverished Northern Indian states.

My prediction is that Southern Indian states will separate from the Northern ones within the next thirty years, probably sooner. The thinking process, progressivity of work ethic and mindsets between Northern and Southern Indian states are very different. The economic chasms are wide and growing wider every day. Northerners won't be able to exploit Southerners for very much longer.

That says a lot when it comes to a unanimous decision like that. It's almost like saying it was already decided and was a sure thing anyway. That's a good thing.

But still, Ethiopia being guaranteed by South Africa and not Nigeria is a little bit strange. Nigeria's economy has been steadily growing and doing pretty well from the minimal information I've read about it. Seem like it would be a better choice than Ethiopia, economically speaking with a GDP almost identical to the UAE. Maybe being somewhat in the middle from South Africa to Egypt that gives it a strategic importance.
