America has had plenty of opportunities to fight major countries in the past few years. But they would rather fight small countries instead.

The world stood by as America let Russia take Crimea in 2014, and let China take Scarborough shoal from the Philippines in 2012 (despite a mutual defence treaty).

The whole world watched as America screamed and raved, but ultimately couldn't do anything.

But it's not too late. It's 2015 now, only a few years have passed, they can still put their money where their mouth is.

Russia is giving them plenty more excuses as we speak (bombing their allies in Syria), but watch as nothing happens yet again.

really? does China or Russia have a capability to transfer half of a million troops thousands of miles away to fight an enemy that during 1990s was considered well equipped?

I see people saying here , US only attacks weak nations , so what is a strong nation by your definition? almost all nations on this planet except China and Russia are weak compared to US.

and the only reason both nations are stronger and can deal damage to US is due to massive nuclear stockpiles

If America COULD destroy after 9/11, she would had done that. They knew the counter attack on israel could teach them a lesson. (BTW, if you don't know, Pakistani missiles can reach israel).

All this war and tussle b/w Russia/America is going to cost the innocent Syrians, The "super" powers will only enjoy their weapons being tested.

We were their ally but unfortunately they were not our ally.
Israel is the epi-center of America's presence in middle east. The Jewish lobby could not afford to do that.
