Just received some rumors/news about 20,000 Pak Army troops deployment in Qatari peninsula. Can any informed member help me on this topic?

I have personally checked my twitter and some defence forums but did not found any such news.

Not true. Pakistan at best will be neutral in Saudi Qatar conflict. Sending troops is taking a side and it wouldn't do that. Secondly, situation at Indian border is tense. No sane country would send it troops out in such a times.

pak is in no position to deploy troops any where on globe."hamaray system main ya sahlulat muyyassar nahi hay" and it is a blessing in disguise. with recent statements from the afghan morons and their terrorist activities inside pak and daily firing by the indians at the LOC our military is spread all along the eastern and western borders. army may also be needed next month once NS gets disqualified by the JIT .noonis will be out of control all over punjab and may require danda to restore order.

Rubbish... pakistan is not going to do anything to antagonize Saudis.

Pakistani is in a difficult position because it has allied with both sides of the conflict (Qatar+Turkey vs.Saudi + rest Gulf)

Do you think pakistan can send troops to an opposite side to which Raheel Sharif is sitting on?

From all angles this is a crap rumour... mods should close the thread.

Turkey launched diplomatic initiatives to defuse the tension in the region after nine countries, including Saudi Arabia and Egypt, cut their diplomatic ties with Qatar, and tried to impose an embargo on the country. Within this framework, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke to the leaders of the countries in the region, and called for dialogue for settlement of the crisis. Turkey’s parliament ratified the decision of sending troops to the region, within the framework of the military base agreement which was agreed to by Qatar and Turkey in 2014, and was signed in 2015.

Turkey, Pakistan will also provide support to defusing the tension in the region, by sending twenty thousand soldiers to Qatar.

Yes, i also heard that every soldier will fly his own JF17 in route to Qatar.
