Lyari gang war leader Baba Ladla shot dead
GWADAR: Notorious Lyari gang leader Baba Ladla was shot dead in a rapid exchange of fire near Pak-Iran borders, sources say. According to reports, The gang leader was shot 3 times while trying to cross Iranian border by Iranian forces. Ladla was one of the gangsters named in the Sindh Police’s ‘Red Book’ and the Sindh government had set Rs300,000 as bounty for anyone who assists in his capture. Baba Ladla went into hiding after the start of Karachi operation. Baba Ladla and Uzair Baloch groups fought a bloody gang war in Lyari for months with a temporary ceasefire in March. He was a resident of Dubai Chowk, Lyari.

these are chuchandar dreams, the gang will choose another leader like TTP, it never ends, if it ended, it should have ended with rehman dacait, arshad pappu, it all depends on karachi police to kick gangsters out of lyari and karachi

What ? It is a legitimate question which to be honest Pakistanis should be asking. Why was he trying to cross the Iranian border? Also, this has the Iranian angle to it so I mentioned a few Iranian members for their take on this.

They use it as a transit to go to mid east. Like the other gang leader Uzair Baloch who crossed over and moved on to Muscat. Iranian angle is that they have relatives on the other side of the border in Iranian balochistan.

You are right actually. The problem is that police is in bed with these gangs...
That's true of any organized criminal gangs anywhere, that they will have many local policemen on their payroll. The policemen get a "cut" from those activities, and that usually turns out to be more than what the govt pays them. It is true of the crime families or gangs in Chicago or Mumbai or Mexico or Karachi or Hong Kong.

It's called "organized crime" for a reason!
