Honestly Indian diplomacy is nothing exceptional. Better than Pakistan's but then Pakistan is a diplomats mightmare. For instance what do you mean "India is friend to both"? That way Pakistan is also friends with KSA and Iran.

What matters is besides the diplomatic speak what does this "friendship" deliver? Nothing. Nought. I mean India is 1.3 billion people country. It would standard courtesy to do photo-ops. But the reality is India has to choose between US and Iran. This is more so in the Trump era. That guy has it in for Iran. America bends toward India but it expects India to do that also. That is why the "Chah" is stuck for the last decade in the "Chah" mode.

As Trump ratchets up the sanctions talk against Iran Indians will be wary and are wary of large investment in Iran. Even the Chinese who are not beholden to USA are subject to US influence on Iran.

And much respect to your FM in taking pride in her Ganga culture with the exposition of the Sari.

Every country is entitled to pursue her own interests.

I hope Pakistanis and Chinese speed up processes at Gwadar port and also invite Arabs/Turks to make it the giant party/cake for everyone.

Go through recent history about Pakistan's relation with Iran.
They bombed at your border area, they called you "terrorists heaven ".

it's just basic politics... everyone search for smthing and when it stinks too much... you out...
India want to prove to the world she's doing her own politics in the region... but in the End..;when big Daddy says "Stop" she will follow...
