Idiot learn how a river works. A river is not a water pipe/channel with a tap as the source. Even if you bomb the "source" of a river, it will still survive. Main source of river water is the water cycle. It starts at a glacier, while going downhill, it collects water from rainfall, different streams etc etc. Even if China blocks Indus and Brahmaputra on its side, at max it will affect 10-15% of the waterflow, rest is coming from tributaries and rainfall on the Indian side of the border, so we only get a small part of our water from you. As for goods. we are banning more and more of them everyday...

It's fair for India to ban Chinese products but using the 'national security' excuse is just hypocrisy following the steps of its colonial master the Agnlo-Saxon race. Again it's another, after so many, wakeup calls to Chinese companies investing in India. The business environment there is toxic due to India's politics and racism.

Something interesting to note though is how India's master Uncle Sam's attempt to replace Huawei equipment goes since 2018-19(?). At the time Trump ordered all Huawei equipment be replaced and allocated a funding for governments (city, county, state) and public facilities (could be privately owned but serving public networking needs). Huawei could not sell equipment in the US anymore and had to shut down its operations except serving the warranty of the installed equipment. The warranty will expire July this year. Yet the funding for the replacement of Huawei equipment had long run out and there's no additional funding for that purpose. Only 1/3 of America's Huawei equipment got replaced with the other 2/3 equipment owner/operators having no money and nowhere to follow the law. In most remote areas, their equipment are still Huawei and they could not replace them without federal money. So what if a 911 caller got a dead tone because the equipment stopped working due to lack of updates, maintenance, etc.?

I guess in India this will not be a problem. Indian government will not concern itself with the needs outside the biggest cities and the lower caste people.

You’re absolutely correct. It won’t be the government — but corporate entities who will be catering to the needs of the people. Typically that includes their entire subscriber base.
