My dear Paks,

Let us sell some JF17s... as the new Block3 is doing test flights... we must also take a flight of fantasy.. and help sell our little brid....

Is it effective to keep the interest of general public glued to Our Fighter?

By giving unique names to each Block... we do create a subliminal momentum in the intrigue that JF is...

@MastanKhan @StormBreaker think IronFalcon is cool... and someone else suggested IndusFalcon...

Also @MastanKhan recommends StrikeFalcon for JF17B

What do you think?

Let PDF Paks take charge and name JF B3

@Bilal Khan (Quwa) @The Eagle @Signalian @PakSword @messiach @Windjammer

Former...
Secondly, we have bilal and pdf twitter/fb to market the name. Let’s create cool, professional and legit articles on b3, headlines using the names. I would suggest pdf fb/twitter to share these articles as posts on your account to bring the names to general public.

There have not been many precedents in history where aircraft have been renamed unless they want to distance themselves from their past. Some examples I can think of are:
The recent rebranding of the F16 to F21 for the Indians. Before that the Americans used the same name (F21) for the Kfirs they flew

We have the example of the F5 variants known as the Tigers and Freedom Fighters

Many Air Forces sometimes even rename their imported aircraft to some localized name. The Mirage 3 has been given various names in Air Forces around the world

After WWII the Americans changed the prefix of all their Air Force fighters from P to F. The P80 became the F80. But that was a change across the service

Not a big fan of the JF17 being renamed half way through it's service life. Maybe a new 'nickname' like Shikra can be given to the bk-3
